Limited Teleportation for Beerus and/or Whis?

Several times in the series, it seems they're able to teleport short distances, and we already know Whis can BFR other people and time travel. Now in the most recent episode, it shows them seemingly teleporting to the core of Earth. Since the core is completely enclosed, they must have teleported there and not traveled. Unless they took the same path Goku took, which was presumably dug for him by Capsule Corporation. But I doubt it. They simply sensed him and appeared there.

Their teleporation is likely limited to, at most, planetary distances. They obviously can't use it for interstellar or intergalactic travel, otherwise Whis wouldn't use his warp speed technique, nor would they ask Supreme Kai to take them to Zen-Oh.

I'd agree they might have short distance teleportation.

when you are MFTL+ (was it in thr quintillions?) planetary distances are nothing, so they seem to teleport, just that. Beerus was surprised by goku's shunkan ido, so its unlikely he can do something similar.

It is in the hundreds of trillions if I'm right but that would mean they came through the same way goku did if so they at least could have shown how goku got down their or they smash through the earth but no rocks feel down on top of them so that ones out.

well the kai's world is enclosed as well and they can travel into it. This just seems like high speed that resembles teleportation

Whis's warp thing is what allows him to travel to realms and universes.

So would it be high speed coupled with being able to pass through solid objects? Or portal creation?

I think Beerus was surprised that a mortal knew a teleportation technique. It's not like he would have been surprised if Kaioshin or Kabito knew it. Whis and Vados were surpised that Hit knew a time-manipulation technique, even though they can manipulate time as well.
