Rohan leads with Heaven's Door and figures out why Light was pulling out a really creepy book.

Alternatively, Rohan beats the shit out of Light with his FISTS!

Okay, ignoring Rohan breaking character and beating Light to death with his own book, Rohan uses HD, reads up on what the book's about (Rohan's a suspicious and curious man- if the infamous Light is pulling out a weird book in the middle of a battle, that can't be a good thing.)

So yea. Either Rohan curb stomps with Heaven's Door, or with athletic human strength.

...and ignore the fact that when a haxy 10-A can beat someone without even using their hax in the first place, this isn't a fair match.

Even then, Rohan doesn't actually have to let Light know that he plans on killing him. Unless Light has a reason to want Rohan dead (In which Rohan just shoves paper in his face), Light's going to lose eventually.

But let's say Light wants to kill Rohan. Rohan's going to see that book, and he's sure as hell not going to let Light finish writing his name in it. Rohan, within the range, will pry the book away from Light or something similar (Athletic vs Normal Human), because Rohan's not going to let the shady magical killer pull out a book and write in it in battle. Rohan's a clever person.

BoS Rohan, probably not a stomp but I'll give it to Rohan with little difficulty since Rohan's not going to let a serial killer who magically kills people all across the world pull out a book in the middle of a fight. That's like you're fighting a guy in their secret lair and instead of attacking, they run at the glowing red button. You don't know what it's going to do, but best not find out, yes?

Btw, Rohan's top travel speed is 25 MPH. Not arm movements, but just raw running speed. We saw this during his fight with the Avatar of Hermes, who btw needs a profile lol

Now now, Light can change probability with his netflix death note and just write "All of Rohan's attempts at stopping me fail as he sufferrs a heart attack" and it could work.

or just write other people's names in the book and oredrr them to shoot rohan.

But he won't have the time to write it. He's not superhuman in the slightest, and Rohan's not dumb. A curious man like him would never let Light write that, and Light hasn't shown to write in the middle of combat anyways. If he pulls out the book, Rohan's going to beat the shit out of him.

If i was going to fight someone, and he took out a notebook out of nowherre, i would be confused rather than threatened.

If you are out to kill a serial killer and you're right in front of them (OP said Rohan is going after a serial killer), and considering the rather odd way Light kills people (Rohan was tracing down a serial killer- he wouldn't know how he kills, but Light can kill basically anyone, and Rohan would of picked up on this.), are you going to let them take out a book in your fight and write your name in it?

Even if we discount the previous point, imagine you are in a fist fight against a serial killer and they pull out a book. You wouldn't stand there and let them write. This is even moreso true with Rohan, who has seen many weird Stands. He'd likely assume the book has something to do with his Stand, as there's no other reason to whip it out.

From there, he'd probably tackle Light or shove a page in his face, or something of the sort. Rohan wouldn't sit there and wait for him to finish writing in his likely Stand book.
