Light Novel Speed Feat Calculation Question

So how do we calc speed feats from light novels?
In manga’s it’s done by pixel scaling but in light novels we dont have pictures. The character dodges light beams(yes they are literal light beams) and is faster than them and can counterattack but since there is no picture I dont know how to calc it.
Do I just like say characters are ftl and that’s it?
Also what I need to put them ftl+? Only multipliers?

SH has this same thing, only instead of dodging they just react to it; and it's LN only.

Yeah, you can only calc based on what you know from fear description.
For instance, if you knew how wide the beam was and how far they were from its source, you could use that to calc speed.
But if all you know is that they were faster, you can only list it as ftl
