So... is this going forward?I’m not going to read that yet, but thank you! I’ll definitely use it.
Yes, I'm just drowning in work right now so I'm lacking time to actually play the game. It'll be completed soon enough.So... is this going forward?
Likely nothing, just mechanics of the worldJust thought about something that detective who physically interacted with himself from a different timeline got erased from and later no there was no trace of him. What does this grant?
OhLikely nothing, just mechanics of the world
You pretty slow if you haven't played i yet. I made a sandbox of her profile but I need help getting the scans and a render for Max double exposureI promise I’m not dead I just finished Chapter 3
I finished it lmao I’m doing the blog tomorrowYou pretty slow if you haven't played i yet. I made a sandbox of her profile but I need help getting the scans and a render for Max double exposure

This is my opinion with spoilers of what the blog should say you should still add the scans and references
The Life is Strange universe is composed of infinite parallel timelines in different space times with no connection between them. 2-A multiverse.
Each timeline can branch but when they do branch caused by Max's powers mostly they collapse on themselves causing a storm. The storm itself is a manifestation of the collapse of those timelines we see that very clearly and it's actually stated in Lis DE as such the storm is at least a 2-C structure, the same thing likely happened in Lis1 but the collapse involved all the timelines that were created by Max's changes to the timeline which means that storm was likely a much bigger structure with many universes collapsing on themselfs. 2-C Storm
Max for games key caused a storm and the collapse of the timelines. 2-C environment destruction
Comics key has Max undoing the storm with her own powers. 2-C with time manipulation
You can mention the transect dimension but it doesn't really have significance.
Finally what do you think?I finished it lmao I’m doing the blog tomorrow
I agree with your scale, I’ll be adding the new abilities she’d get from the game in the blog as well. Finally what do you think?
Already got Max's powers on the SandboxI agree with your scale, I’ll be adding the new abilities she’d get from the game in the blog as well.
What? don't think soYou’re missing Biological Manipulation, Reality Erasure, Matter Manipulation, Clairvoyance, Multilocation and Limited Resistance to Mind Manipulation
As she made the timelines bleed into one another, she caused the doppelgängers to travel in between them. What? don't think so
Hardly, that's a consequence of the storm, she never caused any shift around any of the places the doppelgangers appeared. As she made the timelines bleed into one another, she caused the doppelgängers to travel in between them.
Again that's just a consequence of the stormWhen Alderman touched his doppelgänger, he was erased from reality with no trace. Reality Erasure.
Again that's just a consequence of the stormThat also made Moses’s hair turn grey, a simple consequence. Biological Manipulation.
Don't remember any of that in the comics, the lake thing should be space manipulation as she shifted the 2 lakes existed in the 2 timelines she didn't mess with matter.Matter Manipulation should be added to the Comics section. Could also apply to the lake.
I think that's just enhanced senses.Clairvoyance is connected to Enhanced Senses. Max can use the information she gets from another timeline to act in the one she’s in.
No. There are 2 Maxs each one in a timeline they exist as separe beings not the same so multilocation doesn't applyMultilocation as she independently exists in multiple universes at the same time.
Maybe but Safi says it might be because she trusts Max and not because of her powersResistance to Mind Manipulation as she was unaffected by Safi’s mental terror on Caledon.
Well oddly enough it’s quite the opposite, Reggie saw his doppelgänger in Caledon, and Alderman saw his at Safi’s crime scene. There were no other reports of doppelgängers if I remember correctly and those two places were the ones most frequented by Max. Her ability to travel in between the timelines ”freed” the different personas so I’d say it’s a direct consequence of her actions.Hardly, that's a consequence of the storm, she never caused any shift around any of the places the doppelgangers appeared.
In the comics she interacted with the storm on an atomic level, if you’re giving a character categories based on matter manipulation then they should obviously also get matter manipulation as a whole. The lake is trickier, because technically she did interact with matter as she swapped them, swapping things around two dimensions ultimately revolves on you deconstructing and reconstructing matter on a Multiversal scale.Don't remember any of that in the comics, the lake thing should be space manipulation as she shifted the 2 lakes existed in the 2 timelines she didn't mess with matter.
Use statement from LIS1 where she says she exists in multiple universes at the same time.No. There are 2 Maxs each one in a timeline they exist as separe beings not the same so multilocation doesn't apply
Safi wasn’t controlling herself at all, I don’t think she made an exception towards Max. She made all of her friends suffer as well.Maybe but Safi says it might be because she trusts Max and not because of her powers
Max's most frequent place is Snaping turtle also those were transported in different times that Max was not there, they appear as a result of the timeline conbinning creating those places were the 2 timelines connect, the timeline going even closer to combining caused the people to be transported, and even if that counts that is only dimentional transportation as the doppelgangers are a version of the same person from the other timeline that was transported to the other timeline.Well oddly enough it’s quite the opposite, Reggie saw his doppelgänger in Caledon, and Alderman saw his at Safi’s crime scene. I don't think she ever interacted on an atomic level. In the comics she interacted with the storm on an atomic level, if you’re giving a character categories based on matter manipulation then they should obviously also get matter manipulation as a whole.
Nah, that's just teleportation of a place instead of a person. The lake is trickier, because technically she did interact with matter as she swapped them, swapping things around two dimensions ultimately revolves on you deconstructing and reconstructing matter on a Multiversal scale.
That is refering to her multiple versionsUse statement from LIS1 where she says she exists in multiple universes at the same time.
Arguable but I could go with thatSafi wasn’t controlling herself at all, I don’t think she made an exception towards Max. She made all of her friends suffer as well.
The first thing about the doppelgängers wasn’t even me trying to give it a specific category but simply justifying the reality erasure and bio manip but I guess we can dismiss it. I saw it as Max’s movements making gateways for the versions to move around the timelines, making her one of the causes for the Storm’s actions.Max's most frequent place is Snaping turtle also those were transported in different times that Max was not there, they appear as a result of the timeline conbinning creating those places were the 2 timelines connect, the timeline going even closer to combining caused the people to be transported, and even if that counts that is only dimentional transportation as the doppelgangers are a version of the same person from the other timeline that was transported to the other timeline.

The storm is already environment destruction because she does not create them with her own power, I'm not gonna add a "environment destruction Existance erasure" or whatever. The first thing about the doppelgängers wasn’t even me trying to give it a specific category but simply justifying the reality erasure and bio manip but I guess we can dismiss it. And molecules are made of atoms, that's not how it works, you have to manipulate them directly otherwise almost anyone would have those. As for the storm in the comics, it was molecular, as she neutralized the air density, which is made up of molecules.
Multiple versions that are different Maxs. I don't remember anything about retaining conscious of those versions. It is referring to her multiple versions, that’s a qualifier for multilocation. She retains consciousness from these versions
The panel where she literally says she's untying the strings that make up air density and heat is a clear metaphor of manipulating the molecules that make up the storm. I don't see how else she would've done it.The storm is already environment destruction because she does not create them with her own power, I'm not gonna add a "environment destruction Existance erasure" or whatever.

She says that air density, heat ect are strings of a storm, it just means those are just a part of what makes up the stormThe panel where she literally says she's untying the strings that make up air density and heat is a clear metaphor of manipulating the molecules that make up the storm. She already has possessionI’m kind of divided on Multilocation because Max only recalls what her consciousness has lived through her multiple forms. I don’t know what could embody that specific ability of her jumping from host to host. (I guess it’d just be possession)

I already added that and actually added 2 more that you didn't mentionedWow you guys really do know how to ruin a party I’ll just stick with my Mind Manip Resistance then
Great!I already added that and actually added 2 more that you didn't mentioned
IT seems like she was flicking between both timelines and when Chloe touched her she went with her I don't know it just seems like dimensional travel with 2 peopleIn the comics Max also managed to make Chloe see in an alternate universe through physical touch, what would that be? Power Bestowal?
Part of the scans needed to your blog are already here
You can search the ones you need to add to your blog.
Not sure the transect even qualifies as higher dimensional having doors to other timelines is not the same as transcending themShouldn’t Max from the comics also get Higher-Dimensional Existence (4D) in the Transect? Especially if we base ourselves on this part of the definition:
- Characters who embody or are a literal timeline / spacetime continuum (The entire past, present and future of 3-dimensional space) on a universal scale can also be considered for Higher-Dimensional Existence (4-D). However, simply being called a universe does not count without proper evidence of the entirety of the past, present and future of the timeline being mentioned.
Is embodying them not enough? Not sure the transect even qualifies as higher dimensional having doors to other timelines is not the same as transcending them
Sincerily I'm not that knowledged on higher dimensional stuff, for the little I know it doesn't seem like it, but you should ask someone better knowledged on it.Is embodying them not enough?
I checked out this administrator thread and it was agreed that having at least Type 8 Large Size and containing at least one space-time continuum would grant HDE. The Transect is Type 9 Large Size and embodies an infinite amount of them. I’d say it’s safe to say it would qualify for it.Sincerily I'm not that knowledged on higher dimensional stuff, for the little I know it doesn't seem like it, but you should ask someone better knowledged on it.
That's not the problem you have to prove that the timelines exist inside the transect instead of being only a dimension with portals to each one of those timelines.I checked out this administrator thread and it was agreed that having at least Type 8 Large Size and containing at least one space-time continuum would grant HDE. It seems hard to prove but in one of the panels Max stated she couldn’t enter the timelines shown in the Transect freely, possibly meaning they’re not portals? The only time she could enter one was when the Transect guided her towards it. Later when she managed to enter it with Tristan, a similar thing happened, Tristan got through into one reality but Max didn’t, so either they’re very selective portals (which wouldn’t make sense because portals aren’t sentient beings) or they aren’t portals. That's not the problem you have to prove that the timelines exist inside the transect instead of being only a dimension with portals to each one of those timelines.
