Yes but with an insane prep advantage. He basically spent months preparing and gathering abilities just to beat Hisoka in a place of his choosing under his conditions.

Still giving it to Chrollo, he took on 2 Zoldycks who are each implied to be above Illumi, whom is implied to be equal to Hisoka or at the very least a good fight against him.


Chrollo was holding back against the Zoldyck duo, whilst the duo was trying their best to kill him. I know people will mention Zenos comment about a hypothetical 1v1 against Chrollo, but I want to point out how it seems to be contradictory to Zeno and Silvad earlier comments, which were either one if not both would have to die just to take him out.


A way to make that statement work however is considering what Zoldycks consider a victory, which includes themselves dying in order to take down an opponent. To make things consistent with what we saw, it's always possible that Zeno would have considered a double suicide as a victory against Chrollo in a hypothetical 1v1.

Chrollo wins, even in the prep fight with hisoka you see he out skill, out thinks, he even states how he wins is more important rather than if he wins and hisoka notes of him holding back before he told him his nen abilities he would use to defeat him and he take hits from hisoka with his nen and head combine > which would be above his normal ap from his fist
