Feels like a different champion, though. It's basically a new character and the old one is just gone. Not quite as bad as what they did to Galio, but still.

Also I, by no means, think he looks bad, but he isn't Aatrox (same for Galio).

I would not say he is not Aatrox. Galio is entirely different to the original. Aatrox is very different ut still feels like Aatrox to me, unlike Galio.
 
Galio VGLU was a complete remake with litle to no traces left from the original. Aatrox concept still the same, bu the application is different.

Also he views Jax and Tryndamere as worthy vessels for himself

Which is meaningless until he does something to support it. I too can threaten to remove people from existence, doesn't mean I can though.
 
Looking at the interactions for the new god king skin's, it seems as if Nightbringer Yasuo and Dawnbringer Riven are ancestors of Darius and Garen, and they also can resurrect if killed.
 
Also they are at least on the level of the god skins, possibly NB Yasuo and DB riven, but that's just speculation due to being in the same lineage
 
Yes, the God Kings would be 3-B as Darius flat out states that he's killed guys on the level of the God Fist and God Staff

Also shapeshifting into a wolf and lion respectively

Also also Low-Godly regen as he is shown literally regenerating from his soul and then states that he wasnt killed in a way that actually mattered
 
More proof for God King's being 3-B, he refers to the God fist/God Staff as lesser gods

God king Darius and Garen have fought before, as Garen Confirms. Garen may also have limited regen null as Darius bears the scar from when they last fought despite having his regen.

Also Afterimage Creation

Also he can Smite

Also the God Kings are "Untold Millenia" old

Garen also has Holy Manipulation as he is able to make any weapon he holds consecrated

Also both have limited telekinesis as they can control their armor telekinetically

Also also Garen's regen speed can be increased the more people believe in and worship him
 
Not that much, he was pretty massive already, taller than Braum iirc. Now he is taller and looks like Braum on steroids
 
Um...his sword alone is taller than the trees in his splash art and he's crouched down and still almost as big as it

Also apparently the Darkin are now God warriors that were corrupted by the void. How much do you want to bet they're the ascendants that were void attacked in the battle for icanthia?
 
Also, he should definitely scale to the aspects, at least the Tier 4 ones. Also, he is going o need 2 keys. His ultimate is basically he using his true form/full power, which he uses to kill Aspects I guess
 
The aspects were actually supposed to be downgraded, I just haven't gotten around to I just yet

Because they didn't perform the feats themselves, it was done by their celestials. Look about 2/3rds of themselves way through this thread, me and Henkel talked about it

Though his World Ender form would probably still scale to Ornn level characters if he's fought them before
 
Welp, okay them.

Aatrox World Ender form scales from Anivia, as he stated to be able to completely kill her even with her ressurrection.

Aatrox has always been a favourite of mine so I hope it happens. Also is it just me or does his face in the new splash have a very Devilman feel to it o_O
