Oh, the Bui fight? I'm kind of mixed, but I suppose that's possible. Would be Mid-High if it's legit though.

Dunno, if you ask me it mostly seems he's just dramatically becoming visible slowly through the flames and the third panel kinda the flames going into him instead. If Hiei is the one burnt it would come at odds with Kurama and Hiei's following explanation that, as one who has mastered the Kokuryuha, he devoured the dragon instead of the other way around. Not to mention, IIRC, when Hiei uses it against Sensui the dragon falls on him and he remains there through the flames.

It think it's more of a case of Hiei being flat out resistant to the demon world's flames and being capable of absorbing them by that point.

Fair points and one way of looking at it

Though I am open to interpretation on IF it is possible that Hiei's body was incinerated before absorbing the dragon, but I wouldn't be surprised if that's not the case

I don't disagree

Yeah I'm sure there's no evidence for it, just thought to bring something to the mix

But if you want to know what I'm talking about, this is where I got it

It’s the CSAP wiki what did you expect…. they legit have Emilia from re:zero at outerversal, do not trust an inkling of information on those pages.

Something I wanted to add if possible. But could ones heightened spiritual/demonic aura granted you resistance to mental attacks? Because I recall that Yusuke was unaffected by Hiei's Jagan which not only controls ones mind, but even drives one insane
