Cole starts on an fictional, indistructable island in the middle of Pacific ocean, 20 meters away from Kongou. Both know that they need to kill each other but other then that, are in character. Oh and speed equal.

Okay dropping sarcasm Cole has no way to hit from 4KM away and he's basically just a sitting duck to get bombed to hell.

Close distance to, like, 10 Meters away and we can talk.

To be fair, Kongou is not fighting from that range either (Super Graviton Cannon right off the bat is out of character).

But fair, distance will be shortend 20 meters from each other.

If Cole jumped for his life and put a lot of effort into his jump, and then glided the rest of the way, he could, maybe make it over.

Of course, Cole would think about this and then realize "Nah that's probably a stupid idea" since him not making it over means instant death and opt instead for just blasting her from the range he has. This is 7-A I assume? In that key, he's basically like 199.9999999 Megatons, so he might get past her defenses if he fires enough concecutive Megawatt hammers at it to blow it open.

Of course, while he can do that.... It'll cost him dearly. He's on a remote island in the pacific ocean, so if he just starts unloading, he'll basically sap himself dry. So... he'll probably want to get around her shields.

How do they work?

Klein Fields are passivly up and emcompasses the entire Ship like a buble. Kongou's Klein fiels is around 11 time above baseline for being compareable to a ship who could tank 11 Corrosive Warheads, those Warheads snapping an Destroyer vessel with a single shot, who all no sells human nuclear weaponry.

of course the Tsar Bomba is also 57.8 Megatons in it's actual blast (reduced to such a magnitude to reduce fallout), so it could also be 635.8 Megatons

both of which Cole can't really do squat to bypass. Meanwhile, if Kongou just breaks out the big guns, she'll be able to easily beat up Cole and at least KO him, assuming she doesn't just pull the 6-C Big un'
