King Shadow's advantages:

+ Speed advantage (Initially)

+ More experience (25+ years of it, to be exact, which has shown off in his style as a ruthless king. Conquering Mobius is actually a very good skill feat within the verse due to the militia-like style Freedom Fighters/Chaotix and their place, often being trump cards in a setting with secret agents trained in every form of armed an unarmed combat, with other nations with their own separatist Freedom Fighter groups specialized in similar ways the main Freedom Fighters are)

+++ Chaos Energy (Undoubtedly Shadow's biggest advantage here. This is essentially a gg button due to Chaos Energy's place as a Type 1 concept.)

Sonic's advantages:

+ AP advantage (Whereas King Shadow stomped King Sonic, a weaker Sonic past his Prime, Game Sonic scales to 3 one-shot gaps above Low 2-C iirc)

+ Better skill (While Shadow has the experience advantage here, Sonic has more than enough skill feats to hang with the despot when considering his knack for thrashing inventions designed to counter him)

+ Greater versatility (Wisps, Item Boxes, Shahra's Ring, Caliburn, and six Chaos Emeralds allows for Sonic to diversify his approach of necessary).

Not gonna commit a vote just yet, but I think it might be overkill in favor of Sonic here.

Yeah, Chaos energy + initial speed adv gives Shadow his wincon: landing a Chaos Energy attack before the bloodlusted Sonic just thinks cause Shadow has like zero resistances lol.

Edit: So the question is, who can get their wincons off faster, the guy who has a >2300x initial speed advantage who needs to land an energy infused attack, or his foe thinking

IMO while both can one-shot the other, King Shadow is likelier to land his OHKO first.

I vote sonic, he will grow pretty fastly into shadow's speed tier and then go faster than it, sonic only needs 2 tap to win. And with his blitz speed amps he will likely be able to do so

If Game Sonic wasn't bloodlusted, I'd argue the initial speed disadvantage combined with King Shadow's Chaos Energy would've vaporized Sonic. But because Sonic is bloodlusted while Shadow isn't, Shadow won't get the chance to do any funky Chaos Energy shenanigans due to his assumption that this Sonic won't be worth his time either. All it takes is a good Chaos Control gg.
