In Shadow Lords, you can get this piece of dialogue

Gargos also has this line in the novels which can possibly act as supporting evidence:

"and their great struggle was like an explosion of stars"

This could be taken as a simile, but there is another piece of lore that may suggest otherwise:

In lore, Gargos is noted to have been possibly birthed from a black hole.

Regardless, these two last scans are really only supporting evidence for the first, which is rather direct.

A counter may be that it is an outlier, but Gargos doesnt really have any anti feats to suggest this. His accepted air dispersal feat was extremely casual (and can range from moon to planet). Gargos is also trying to Take Over earth, not destroy it.

Im fine with giving Gargos a "likely", or "possibly" Star level rating. This would of course apply to any character that scales to him as well

I think the Tier 4 stuff have some barring, but "Being born from a blackhole" sounds arbitrary to say the least.

Agreed, the sun destruction thing seems to make sense, with the "explosion of stars" thing being somewhat supportive.

The black hole thing, instead, appear to be a bit flowery, to outline how evil they are and it's repeteadly stated and shown that Gargos indeed comes from the Astral Plane.

There seems to be a preponderance of evidence supporting this interpretation. The first scan being verbatim and declarative and the other scans good supporting evidence. So even on a lore/narrative based level it makes complete sense.
