Could be argued that Kharn's magical negation could disapate the lantern constructions, but I personally dont see that happening. Possibly the most important stat is Atrocitus's ability to draw power from other people rage, which considering this is Warhammer 40k, would help alot fighting someone like Kharn, or practially anyone that isn't Eldar or Tau.

Any idea on Atrocitus's tactical know how, or estimates on age? Cause I could see Kharn's experience making a difference in drawing Atrocitus closer, where he'd have the advantage.

We've never seen a real age for Atrocitus. Also, mostly drawing power from rage while ruthlessly beating them, from what I see.

Depends what he does with his powers

Well mostly Atrocitus uses his strength to overwhelm with his napalm blood and other such abilities playing into it (Don't know if he creates constructs)

The main thing is Atros' strength is tied to his rage and the rage of others (IE Kharn's anger will feed him) which I'm not sure counts as unfair by the Blood God's standards.

Yeah that rage power thing is something Khorne is definitely ok wkth.

Atrocitus absolutely creates constructs.

As for his age, it is stated numerous times that he is billions of years old, having been imprisoned on Ysmault for as long, and having lived amongst the Five Inversions in the Empire of Tears for eons. He has a genius-level intellect, to the point of being able to create an energy-draining device with everyday gun and computer parts. Though Atrocitus does prefer to go in with melee-based constructs and H2H, he's been shown numerous times blasting people from afar, be it with ring blasts or his napalm blood, or constructs.

Though the Red Power Rings were created through blood sorcery, they are not technically magical themselves, similar to Green Power Rings.

They don't necessarily need to be magic, Khorne can null whatever he wants. Khorne just hates magic. The technicality probably wouldn't be all that relevant to him.

With DC 4-Bs, Kharn's durability is far higher but his AP is lower. He can bridge the AP gap with Gorechild.

Not sure if this is a necro or not, but for a more exact number on age, Atrocitus is at least 3.5 billion years old, as he existed during the millennia-long rampage of the Manhunters long before the founding of the Green Lantern Corps.

So, Atrocitus should have a sizable experience advantage, combined with his intellect.

It's a necro, yeah. I'm not entirely sure Atrocitus can hurt him though, due to his durability being waaaay higher.

Age in itself doesn't count for anything, what's been done during that time matters. Kharn's timeframe is a lot lower but he's been fighting near constantly. He's considered more dangerous than daemon engines powered by bloodthirsters, casually demolished Azrael who himself is no slouch skillwise, fodderized some of the most elite dark angels there are, and survived combat with Abaddon. From what I remember the Manhunters mostly exterminated shit and not much was actually strong enough to really pose a threat to them,.

The Manhunters attained their own sapience and fought against the Guardians of the Universe during that entire millennia-long rampage, as the Guardians attempted to rectify their mistake. The Guardians themselves are incredibly skilled, intelligent, and powerful, and they had the advantage of having built the Manhunters, and it still took them a thousand years to quell them (Manhunters are comparable to standard Green Lanterns in raw physical strength alone, as one nearly defeated Kyle Rayner this way). As well, Atrocitus lead the Empire of Tears for an unknown number of millennia, conquering vast swathes of space with nothing but raw physical strength and blood magic, long before he had a ring.

Add in some napalm blood and Rage Power, and you've got a victory for Atro, IMO. Power null isn't even a factor, as I doubt Khorne would consider Atrocitus' constructs "unfair" (Atrocitus commonly creates melee weapons, such as axes or swords).

Well that works out in terms of skill. From what I know of him his constructs are just used to beat people, but Khorne really hates magic so he may just negate that anyways.

However, Kharn's durability is in the gigafoe. DC is just 600 kilofoe. Granted Kharn wasn't in any state to fight any more after the gigafoe beatings he endured, but he did fight Abaddon the Despoiler for a bit and manage to block an attempted deathblow and survived being beaten into the ground by Angro when Angron's blows instagibbed everyone before. Even one megafoe to 600 kilofoe is a difference of >1000x.

From what's on the profile nurglite daemons have far worse blood coursing through their bodies, and yet Kharn doubtlessly killed some of those dudes before. Whether Khorne just said "sickness is lame" or kharn just resists or whatever, since he's dealt with similar before idk if it really can.

..Yeah, but it isn't really a sickness. It's like molten acid, except it also affects energy constructs like those of a Green Lantern, which have 4-B durability.

If it doesn't negate durability, it may run into trouble because Kharn's a stone wall.

If it does, is he likely to go for it offensively off the bat?

What would that do?

Kharn has more than one heart. All the space Marines do.

Khorne probably wouldn't let that swap happen anyways, that's too much like Tzeentch's trickery.

Im a bit uncertain and might change but for now im gonna vote for Kharn, as long as Gorechild negs dura and his powernull effects Atrocitus Kharn has a very good chance to win, that and the fact Atrocitus will seemingly have a hard time harming Kharn due to his dura.

How much does Khorne help Kharne? Because it seems a little unfair for Atrocotice to fight Khorne by proxy. If its just magic nullification, How does Khorne define that? In DC powers rings aren't generally considered magic except for the Allen Scott green lantern.

It isn't just magic nullification, Khorne nullfies anything he doesn't like in fair martial combat for Kharn. He's nullfied weapons before too. He also resurrects him when he dies.

If Kharn loses in a fair fight then Khorn would probably try to make the person who beat him join him.

If he gets resurrected he'd probably be in The Warp in front of Khorne. That's what tends to happen when a Daemon is resurrected. Obviously just a manifestation rather then the actual Khorne who's busy trying to get past The Emperor.

Well the Chaos God Type 8 is generally considered not combat applicable since it's generally inconsistent iirc.

Plus isnt Khorne all about "fair" fights? So wouldnt it be against that to revive him if he loses in a "fair" fight.
