keeping the old TJOC profiles?

While i am against the idea, several people have brought up wanting to keep the classic versions of The Joy of Creation profiles (based off their mid 2010's appearance. the profiles are currently in the state of that version). And having the new version (based off their newly released demo [profile example here]) of the game as separate profiles, under mostly the consensus that they are different continuities. (or they just rlly kinda wanna keep em around)

I personally believe we shouldn't, as the new TJOC game is not treated as a reboot nor a remake, but as a definitive version of the franchise. but i wanted to know what others think.

should these outdated versions of the characters even stay? or should the modern variants overhaul the old profiles.

This is a textbook reboot. It is disregarding continuity to reimagine the story from the beginning and taking inspiration from the original titles.

Overwriting the old profiles with new information could actually apply if this were just an updated version.

But this is something completely new. The way I see it, this can ONLY be its own set of profiles.
