However, indeed he could spam. And Kars has shown quite the skill with it, too, capable of dodging the Funny/Funniest D4C wall, time stopping to the point that DIO didn't even realize it, so reacting to Bayonetta's weapons upon entering Purgatorio isn't entirely out of the question.

Edit: My point is that a surprise shot upon entering purgatorio will not end Kars, as something similar happened with DIO and all of the Funny/Funniest, yet Kars dodged anyway thanks to time stop.
