FairLooking at the profile and the damage boost stuff is a little sketchy to me im ngl. We know ghouls have delicate membranes, so Arima literally could have just stabbed the ghouls in the eye or smth.
I don't think so. Having a blunt wall-hanger sword for decoration made out of quinque steel for rooms where weapons are prohibited is wild. Also, are we sure the sword that Kuroiwa was using wasn't made of quinque steel? That seems far more likely.
The sword Kuriowa had came off a wall, it might've been quinque steel, I'm not sure, it looked like those ceremonial swords. As for the the Arima stuff, it is in character for him to attack the eyes like he did against Kaneki in the ending of P1, but thinking about him killing a ghoul using an umbrella and it not shattering from the force he's putting behind it, what sorta hax would this be? It kinda reminds me of what Goo from Lookism can do, slicing people with the heel of the shoe or stuff like chop sticks, not sure what ability it would be.Looking at the profile and the damage boost stuff is a little sketchy to me im ngl. A perfectly fair point, but the manga itself provides context in the dialogue between Urie and Kuroiwa, when Urie points out that it's not a quinque.Looking at the profile and the damage boost stuff is a little sketchy to me im ngl. When you're a strong guy, you can hit anything with power. It's just that ordinary objects usually fall apart after the first hit.The sword Kuriowa had came off a wall, it might've been quinque steel, I'm not sure, it looked like those ceremonial swords. It kinda reminds me of what Goo from Lookism can do, slicing people with the heel of the shoe or stuff like chop sticks, not sure what ability it would be.
+ like, if it was intentionally made to be a weapon from the start, could they at least sharpen it? What can it even cut being that blunt lmao.Fair
I don't think so. Having a blunt wall-hanger sword for decoration made out of quinque steel for rooms where weapons are prohibited is wild.
And the fact that Kuki not sure if Kuroiwa can use it to hurt ghouls further suggests that it's just a improvised ordinary weapon.
why would he do thatNik removed all of them
I'll add them soon if they're required
Сестра, там было около 100 референсов на главы в моментах, когда можно просто вставить изображение показывающее событиеwhy would he do that![]()

That was you? Will comment on this in a bit, noticed some things wrong with the profile while my team was writing an eren vs ken blog
Nik first of all if someone spent their time on adding references you first ASK if it's okay with them to remove them.Сестра, там было около 100 референсов на главы в моментах, когда можно просто вставить изображение показывающее событие
Sure, I'll remove it.but the Arima example should be removed since he very easily could have just stabbed them in the eyes and there's nothing that implies he was just blowing holes in them with an umbrella.
All changes can be undone with a single click of the mouse (previous version > edit > save), so there's no need to overdramatize.Nik first of all if someone spent their time on adding references you first ASK if it's okay with them to remove them.
Second of all, the point of references on profiles is so we can access the context of the scenes AND in case the links break easily find the scans and replace them.
Lastly if there were many individual references to the same chapter then instead of deleting them you should merge them so all references point towards the same thing in the reference box, not nuke them completely.
I'm genuinely surprised you aren't aware of these basic facts and your complete disregard for the effort people put into the profile.
Foriaa and I had been in dialogue about editing the profile for over a month and all the details were discussedNik first of all if someone spent their time on adding references you first ASK if it's okay with them to remove them.

That's just fiction and us ignoring the fact characters aren't always really scaling to calcs. Tg isn't much different not having an energy system and all. I'd add these to weaknesses maybe? I mean, we're kinda shown what happens in TG when an inferior weapon is used against a ghoul. Kinda weird something similar didn't happen with an umbrella of all things. That's just fiction and us ignoring the fact characters aren't always really scaling to calcs.
Haise, Akira, and the Quinxes are discussing stories about Arima, and a story is mentioned where he killed a ghoul with an umbrella. That's just fiction and us ignoring the fact characters aren't always really scaling to calcs. That's completely irrelevant. Also could cause issues if other changes happened in the profile since you removed them. All changes can be undone with a single click of the mouse (previous version > edit > save),
I really don't think expecting you to ask people if you can delete their hours of work is "overdramatizing". Regardless of whether it's possible to undo the deletion because if it slipped under the radar it'd just miss from the profile entirely.so there's no need to overdramatize.
You erased EVERY stat reference…Especially given the current profile format and writing encoding, it's easier to add a smaller, more relevant number of references than to delete fifty individually, trying not to break the profile by accidentally deleting an important character.
Just reread the umbrella thing. I guess it can be dismissed since we just dont know how he used it to beat the ghoul.I mean, we're kinda shown what happens in TG when an inferior weapon is used against a ghoul. Kinda weird something similar didn't happen with an umbrella of all things.

I repeat once again – all of this was discussed in the dialogue with Foriaa. Please stop judging from the outside and trying to find meanness where there is none. That's completely irrelevant. Also could cause issues if other changes happened in the profile since you removed them.

I mean, I'm not saying you should be stoned for it or anything but it's kind of a jerk move, and instead of just going "oh damn my bad" you blame it on the references being bad? That's like jerk move²
Anyway this is irrelevant and further discussion would just unnecessarily clutter the thread so I won't be replying to the topic anymore
He just says they took it out. Not that he killed it. Could easily have just used it for parrying then beat it down with his other hand or kicksHe'd have to overcome their immortality, which would require significant damage to their organs.
Так их вместе надо, и изображение и главу, ну впрочем Давид тебе уже ответилСестра, там было около 100 референсов на главы в моментах, когда можно просто вставить изображение показывающее событие
In order to remove the text clutter and redo it from scratchWhy were the refs removed?
Huh?He just says they took it out. Not that he killed it. Could easily have just used it for parrying then beat it down with his other hand or kicks
Why ask this as if the manga makes that interpretation clear? We're told he took it out, raws use 倒しちゃった which mean just knock/bring down. Arima is easily capable of incapping a ghoul.Huh?Why would Arima not kill a ghoul?
Considering that Kuroiwa is a magician who can stop the Owl's blade with his bare hands, I think he wielded this sword only through brute force.Wait guys, you can't just throw things on page that other characters did through skill. This is why I suggested just making a dove page to better reason this stuff, and Kaneki has no reason to know the trick with the old sword either. Saying he's "comparable" literally means nothing.
Why ask this as if the manga makes that interpretation clear? We're told he took it out, raws use 倒しちゃった which mean just knock/bring down. Arima is easily capable of incapping a ghoul.
1. Urie questions if he can cut with it cuz it's a normal sword.Considering that Kuroiwa is a magician who can stop the Owl's blade with his bare hands, I think he wielded this sword only through brute force.
In what way can you incap a ghoul using an umbrella? You'd have to agree some level of damage is happening here, which is what I was originally questioning. We know regular weapons typically break, so an umbrella, which isn't even considered one should realistically shatter on impact.Arima is easily capable of incapping a ghoul.
The trick was to use the sword as a club and get close to Rio, because as we later see, he simply strangled him. However, we also see him cut through the kagune with the sword.1. Urie questions if he can cut with it cuz it's a normal sword.
2. Kuroiwa says there's a trick to it.
How you maneuvered yourself to brute force makes no sense man.
Reread what I said and reread the page cuz in no way does it have to mean he solely used the umbrella to win.In what way can you incap a ghoul using an umbrella? Not really? I think if you significantly damage a ghoul's brain they die pretty easily, which can be done by just stabbing them in the head. Higher-tier ghouls can survive of course but like, the average ghoul isn't going to have the same recovery rate as Tsukiyama or Touka or etc. He'd have to overcome their immortality, which would require significant damage to their organs.
I think that's a lot of damage no?I think if you significantly damage a ghoul's brain they die pretty easily
It is, but you can access the brain by piercing more delicate membranes, while you can't access something like the liver or the intestines via the same method since they're covered with hard tissue.I think that's a lot of damage no?![]()
