Key Structure Changes
- Old key layout: Tokyo Ghoul | Sasaki Haise | Post-Rose Arc | Dragon | Post-Dragon
- New key layout: Post-Aogiri Arc | Owl Suppression Operation Arc | Pre-Rose Arc | Post-Rose Arc | Post-Dragon
- The old Tokyo Ghoul key has been split into Post-Aogiri Arc and Owl Suppression Operation Arc to better separate Kaneki’s scaling at different points in Part 1, previously it was just Part 1 with the next key skipping to Part 2's Haise.
- The old Sasaki Haise key has been revised into the Pre-Rose Arc key, since his power varies.
- The Dragon key has been removed from the main profile, I'll be reworking this in the future.
Stat Changes
- Post-Aogiri Arc scales to Multi-City Block level+, Small Town level with Kakuja, and higher with Accelerated Development. This is supported by Kaneki scaling to Yamori, being stated superior to the twins, forcing Shinohara to activate Arata, nearly snapping his spine, clashing with him, and later incapacitating Arata Shinohara with an imperfect hit.
- Owl Suppression Operation Arc was added as a new statistics key. Kaneki now scales from fighting and defeating Hirako, fighting Amon, destroying Amon’s Quinque, cleaving through Arata Amon, and cracking IXA’s protective barrier.
- Pre-Rose Arc now uses Varies ratings because Sasaki refuses to fully accept Kaneki’s identity, but still having Multi-City Block level due to still being stronger than the Quinxes and most ghouls, with it increase to the Multi-City Block level+ value as the fight progresses, and finally up to Small Town level at his peak
- Post-Rose Arc now scales to Town level+, likely Large Town level+, with far higher Kakuja scaling. This comes from defeating Eto, tearing apart her Kakuja with a single attack, chewing her Kakuja, destroying IXA’s protective barrier, crashing into Owl, and ultimately destroying it.
- Post-Dragon now scales from Town level+, likely Large Town level+ to Large Mountain level+ with Accelerated Development. This is based on Kaneki absorbing all of the Oggai and the core, being shocked by his own power, one-shotting Kakuja Furuta, and destroying Dragon’s defense mechanisms in one blow.
- Post-Dragon Speed is now at least Relativistic with far higher reaction and combat speed via Kagune, with further increases through Kakuja and Accelerated Development. This is supported by his post-Dragon power increase and his ability to blitz Kakuja Furuta.
- Post-Dragon Lifting Strength now reaches Class T with Accelerated Development, based on withstanding Dragon tentacles and escaping Dragon’s restraints.
Ability Additions Revisions
- Added Skilled Hand-to-Hand Combatant to Post-Aogiri Arc, supported by Kaneki’s combat showings.
- Expanded Information Analysis and Analytical Prediction for Post-Aogiri Arc, as Kaneki can predict, analyze, and adapt to opponents during combat.
- Added Social Influencing to Post-Aogiri Arc, including fear, coercion, and deception, through Kaneki intimidating and terrifying ghouls into giving him information.
- Expanded Instinctive Action for Kaneki, since he has been stated to fight on instinct several times.
- Expanded Power Mimicry, as Kaneki can read opponents and learn to predict and mimic their techniques.
- Added Enhanced Senses for Post-Aogiri Arc, as Kaneki sensed Shachi about to attack him from above without looking.
- Added Surface Scaling, as Kaneki can scale walls in Kakuja mode.
- Expanded Supernatural Willpower with multiple examples, including Kaneki fighting after Yamori’s torture, continuing to battle Shachi despite being previously defeated, and continuing to fight Arima while exhausted, pierced, and severely damaged.
- Changed Sasaki’s old Fear Manipulation listing into Limited Perception Manipulation, based on his performance replicating the image of a snake capturing its prey.
- Added Limited Underground Mobility for Pre-Rose Kaneki, since he can use his kagune to attack from underground.
- Expanded Superhuman Precision for Post-Rose Kaneki, scaling him to top Special Class investigators who can kill opponents behind them without turning, make precise throws in free fall, and deflect multiple kagune projectiles.
- Added Enhanced Instinctive Action to Post-Rose Kaneki, scaling from Urie dodging attacks far faster than his perception.
- Added Limited Attack Reflection to Post-Rose Kaneki, scaling from Suzuya being able to deflect dozens of kagune projectiles and redirect them to the sides.
- Added Damage Boost through Weapon Mastery, scaling from Arima being able to kill ghouls with an umbrella and Kuroiwa cutting through kagune with a broken blunt sword.
- Expanded Enhanced Information Analysis and Enhanced Analytical Prediction, as Kaneki could completely predict Arima.
- Added Feints, as Kaneki tricked Arima with a kagune shout.
- Added Weapon Creation and Limited Thread Manipulation for Post-Rose Kaneki through creating cages, traps, and kagune strings.
- Added Extrasensory Perception, as Kaneki can detect when something is going wrong in the 24th ward.
- Expanded Absorption, as Kaneki can eat and instantly digest opponents with his kagune, scaling above Uta, who can swallow opponents whole.
- Added Flight / pseudo-flight to Post-Dragon Kaneki, as his Kakuja allows him to fly, remain stationary mid-air, and maneuver freely.
- Upgraded Post-Dragon Regeneration from Mid up to High-Mid with Reactive Evolution to at least Mid, up to Low-High with Reactive Evolution, based on Kaneki being reduced to a puddle and still regenerating.
- Added Rize-based regeneration support, as Kaneki shares the same RC-cell physiology as Rize, whose body and kakuhou were split apart and distributed among the Oggai before being reconstituted.
- Upgraded Post-Dragon Regeneration Negation from Mid up to High-Mid to at least High-Mid, up to Low-High with Reactive Evolution, since Furuta was unable to regenerate his arm and Kaneki later killed Dragon-Rize with one attack.
- Added Enhanced Instinctive Action to Post-Dragon Kaneki, as he unleashed a barrage of kagune without conscious intent.
- Expanded Reactive Evolution and Accelerated Development, specifying growth through battle and damage, affecting both physical statistics and abilities. This includes Kaneki’s physiology changing, adapting, and becoming strong enough to blitz and one-shot Furuta.
- Expanded Post-Dragon Weapon Creation, as Kaneki can create weapons directly from his kagune, including a katana after Furuta requested a swordfight.
- Moved Explosion Manipulation into the main Post-Dragon ability list and paired it with Durability Negation, based on explosive RC cells and Furuta’s attacks being able to tear targets apart from the inside.
- Expanded Post-Dragon Enhanced Power Mimicry, as Kaneki can copy kagune that he has seen before.
- Added Danmaku as a possible application of copied Ukaku-type kagune properties, since Ukaku types can produce many projectiles at once.
- Added possible Electricity Manipulation, Forcefield Creation, Duplication, Fire Manipulation, and Healing under the condition that Kaneki realizes his full potential.
- Added possible Healing, including healing humans, ghouls, and himself.
Resistance Revisions
- Expanded resistance to Biological Manipulation, since Kaneki retains human genetics despite his acquired ghoul physiology.
- Added resistance to Poison Manipulation and Regeneration Negation, since Kaneki could reattach his arm and heal his damaged torso after being damaged by quinque that should poison him and inhibit his regeneration.
- Added resistance to Pain Manipulation, due to Kaneki enduring Yamori’s torture and twisting his own leg to escape grabs and counterattack.
- Added resistance to Electricity Manipulation and Extreme Heat, since he no-sold an attack from Narukami.
- Expanded resistance to Regeneration Negation, as Kaneki could heal after being pierced by IXA and later recover from Owl attacks.
- Added resistance to Biological Deconstruction, since RC suppressants disrupt RC cells and disintegrate kagune, but Kaneki’s kagune limbs do not disintegrate despite absorbing the RC suppressor.
- Added Unconventional Biological Information Analysis resistance, since Kaneki’s new anatomy is beyond the scope of biological knowledge.
- Added Absorption resistance, since Kaneki was not instantly absorbed when Dragon tried to devour him and survived inside Dragon’s body.
- Added Unconventional resistance to Pressure Points and Pain Manipulation, since Post-Dragon Kaneki’s body is composed of kagune and lacks conventional pressure points or pain receptors.
- Added resistance to Poison Manipulation, Disease Manipulation, and cellular/genetic Biological Manipulation through adaptation to Dragon toxin and ROS effects.
- Added resistance to Memory Manipulation and Perception Manipulation, scaling from resistance to ROS symptoms, which include memory disorders, mental regression, and deadening of the five senses.
Stamina / Range / Equipment / Intelligence / Tactics
- Expanded Post-Aogiri Stamina by adding context from Yamori's torture, who has filling up buckets with Kaneki's fingers, placing centipedes in his ear, using RC suppressants etc.
- Expanded Post-Dragon Stamina due to bro just being consumed by the Dragon, waking up from a coma and still being able to think, coordinate fight etc.
- Expanded Range due to Kagune size depending on things like will and RC cell capacity.
- Updated Standard Equipment by adding the CCG equipment Kaneki can use, such as the Ukaku Gun Quinque, explosive or incendiary grenades, CRC gas, and a gas mask.
- Overhauled Intelligence into a clearer Genius rating, with separate explanations for his general intelligence and his combat/strategic intelligence.
- Added a Standard Tactics with new descriptions and images showing Kaneki's usual battle tactics.
