Kamen Rider Joker Vs Seryu: The Warped Meaning Of J/Kill The Sins (12-3-0) GRACE OVER!

Justice.

Its meaning in the Oxford English Dictionary states: "The maintenance of what is just or right by the exercise of authority or power". Depending on the person, what they think about when they hear this word is always different.

It should have been like any other day for Shotaro Hidari, chilling in his office when he's not dealing with the abundant cases of missing cats. Akiko, the boss of this private detective agency, keeps him company by nagging at him and sometimes hitting his head with her slippers. Ever since his partner left him to protect the city by himself, he's been taking Philip's words to heart, keeping this city as safe as possible. Thankfully, there haven't been many incidents concerning Dopants these days, and finding lost cats is more of the typical routine job. Surely at least one case will slip in, and soon enough, he finds himself in the streets of Futo City, finding a missing cat for a middle-aged housewife who loves her cat dearly. Obviously, because of his detective skills, he sees the slippery bastard and gives chase to the city square. As he's about to complete this case, something else distracts him, leading the cat to escape and continue the exploration of the Windy City.

Something he never expected.

A battered pink-haired woman, who is probably as short as Akiko, runs past him. And then, so does a missile, flying towards a nearby building and soon exploding, leaving the rubble from it to fall onto the passersby, and endangering them. Screams soon fill the city square and everyone in the vicinity is running away in panic of whatever is taking place here. Looking over to Mine, she attempts to shoot from her comically large rifle, only to have it knocked away from her by another oncoming missile, sending the two away from each other and destroying the flooring between them. Catching himself on his feet, Shotaro takes a glance at their assailant; a woman with auburn hair and what appears to be a small dog approaching them. By the time he checks up on Mine, she's far away from him, knocked out cold from the impact.

The Futo PD arrives in no time, with his friends, detective Jinno and his partner joining in the fray. Seryu smiles sweetly, asking for the pink-haired woman, saying that she's a fugitive from her part of the area and that she needs to be executed immediately for the sake of justice. The two were having their battle back in their world, but two portals opened up under them, leading them to this city and causing this very meeting between Shotaro and Seryu. This talk of execution and justice and the complete disregard for the surrounding civilians she's endangering just to catch this 'fugitive' sets off alarms in his head. Here comes the moment of his decision of whether he should hand Mine over or not, and like his mentor, he's going to have to be hardboiled about it. In just a moment, he tells the two detectives to take the unconscious woman away to safety, stating his reason is that there's something more than just what she had said, and he's willing to discuss with her if she's truly a criminal. Seeing that this man is defending the fugitive in her eyes, her face contorts to one with a sadistic smile, with Koro growling at him by her side. Declaring loudly that he's now just another criminal to deliver the hammer of justice onto, Koro bites her arm and retracts from it, revealing a turret containing missiles in its place, before firing them all at the now hardboiled detective.

As the smoke clears from the explosion, Shotaro emerges from it, now wearing his Lost Driver Belt and holding a Joker Gaia Memory. Like Seryu, he's also going to bring her to justice, but for hurting the city and its people all for her view of justice. After all, he's still going to keep his vow to Philip about protecting the city, as long as he breaths. With that, he activates the gaia memory in his hand before putting it into the driver's socket, uttering the magic words before turning the red part to the right.

Henshin!

JOKER!

A purple aura pulse from his belt long before he has said "henshin" and from that, he transforms into Kamen Rider Joker. As both combatants and Koro take their stances, the air goes tense. There's no one left in the town square anymore, thanks to the PD. Without any further civilian casualties, he can focus on his foe. After all, this battle isn't more than just an average match, it's about whose sense of justice would prevail...

(Sorry if this thread post is long, I just wanted to try something like this since this feels very thematic despite my subpar writing skills).

Okay so, considering how they’re both equal is attack/durability, it really comes down to other factors like skill, experience, and character. How does Seryu and Kuro fight and how good of a CQC combatant are they?

Shotaro has been trained under Skull for many years and as his time as a Rider, has fought a wide assortment of enemies. He fought comparable to Gentaro who’s comparable Ryusei, who has mastery in kung fu. Fought alongside Eiji, who within a few days of being a Rider, went from being a random hobo to being a skilled martial fighter in both hand to hand, swordsmanship, and firearm combat. Out of the three of them, Shotaro being both the more experience and intelligent fighter. Shotaro had also easily defeated members of NEVER, a mercenary group that single handedly taken down entire terrorist organization by themselves.

I'll give my two cents about this as soon as Akame Ga Kill supporters come and have their say about it (Or if they don't, I'll do it soon).

He's not 500 Kilotons, just like how W isn't just 1 Megatons, the feat is 4.4459649e+15 or 1.062 Megatons making Joker 531KT, giving Joker an AP advantage

Yeah but the one being physically superior is Joker now, I don't think he has any hax abilities to help him win immediately, so he probably would just be using his intelligence and combat experience

I don't recall Seryu even having that much skill and experience. IIRC, her feats aren't comparable to like Akame (Which even her isn't that skilled and is inferior to many Kamen riders).

Honestly Voting Joker since he's very slightly more physically stronger, and is more skilled.

Akame (Which even her isn't that skilled and is inferior to many Kamen riders)
Would've taken offense at this but I know nothing about kamen rider.

Can't really say much about Seryu in cqc but she did wail on Mine who at least has decent h2h skills. She was also part of the police force before joining the jeagers and was trained in h2h by her commanding officer so while she has nothing of note, it's not like she has zero experience.
With that said, I have to wonder why everyone is voting already. It's a punch, kick merchant vs another punch, kick merchant but with the latter being a nut job that's a walking arsenal, has an immortal emotional support animal with her that can just tank everything while the nut job is free to blast everything away.
What's he gonna do when hit with a salvo of missiles from hundreds of meters away?

SBA has then starting out hundreds of meters a part, so how does Seryu normally fight. Does she sit back as Kuro fires off a barrage of missiles or does she close the distance between the opponent to fight with her weapons Kuro makes?

Considering how it’s a cityscape and the missile will break things like rumble, dust fields, and such, to say that Shotaro wouldn’t use this to his advantage to get in close is an understatement. Does Kuro or Seryu have any showings of high tracking ability?

Edit: Just starting distance us 5 meters. Yeah ignore my last paragraph, they’re throwing hands.

She should have a radar from her Ten Heavenly Kings Weapon set, specifically Number 9: Justice City Detector - An arm with a radar that detects living beings in a certain area.
While it does take her a while to change weapons via Koro, She can have another weapon for her other arm or just have a gun for an arm should it be damaged heavily.

Edit: Also votes counted.

Ok, so the Standard Tactics for Seryu should be to shoot Shotaro with her tonfa guns from mid-range while having Koro tank Shotaro's punches. However, Kamen Rider Joker can lift Koro and chuck him at Seryu or away from him due to superior LS (which is likely Class T). This battle's also actually a 2v1 because of Koro, but he should be skilled enough to handle two opponents at once. Koro's regen is going to be a problem unless Shotaro uses a finishing move on his core, which then the funny explosion will help with destroying his core. Equally troublesome is Seryu herself, with her weapon versatility via Koro and the ones in her body. She should be skilled enough to be able to block Sheele's flurries and even sacrifice her body parts to avoid fatal blows, which also benefits her as she's going to have guns and other stuff in her body but I assume she's also going into close range. Not to mention most of her weapons also explode so yeah.

Berserker Koro brings another trouble for Shotaro with the stun roar (though he might be able to power through with his supernatural willpower) or just wrestle out of his grip via superior LS. Being bigger means that it's going to be harder for Joker to find and destroy his core. But if Koro dives headfirst into trying to bite him, he's going to use one of his finishers, both having explosions that are huge enough to cover his whole body.

Seryu's CQC isn't something to just brush off
although she's not skilled in terms of skills her strength lies in how she utilizes anything to gain an advantage or finish the job
the reason why her body is heavily modified and every inch of her body parts has lethal weapons within it is so she can continue fighting regardless of how much damage she can get to keep up with her weapon which basically unkillable in Akame ga kill sense

So Seryu would try to win with attrition.
Here lies the intellect part due to how her weapons are very unconventional the people who fought here and relied on their skill still struggled because things like blocking and parrying may not work since there might be hidden weapons underneath her arms etc there was one time she would willingly let herself get hit so she can land an even lethal blow with one of her internal weapons.

initially, Seryu would try to overwhelm Joker with arsenals but it would eventually end up with just them going CQC, and its where Seryu would start to do dirty tricks and hidden weapons as he baits the more skilled user to perceive a weakness from her only to show hidden weapons inside her very body

It's a punch, kick merchant vs another punch, kick merchant but with the latter being a nut job that's a walking arsenal, has an immortal emotional support animal with her that can just tank everything while the nut job is free to blast everything away.
The fact that the punch and kick merchant has beat several other being that have special abilities like Luna Dopant that can stretched their tentacles around for various range and grapple attack, Heat Dopant that can manipulated fire for various range attacks and more. And he plow through several of them one after another despite fighting in a heavily nerfed form. And those Dopant, are also members of the mercenaries that was mentioned above.

Also, it's Kamen Rider. You have the tendency to just explode if you ate a Finisher from inside-out.

Backing up Nicetoderp, while Shotaro fights most dopants (the monsters of Kamen Rider W) as Double together with Philip in his body, he should arguably have the experience and skills taken over from those fights into his Joker Form, which will make up for the lack of weaponry along with pure raw power.

Should Seryu plainly try to tank one of his finishers, it's going to result in more injury than she'll anticipate due to the explosion manipulation. And even Koro may have trouble tanking it.

The fact that no one here mentioned explosion manip despite it happen every episode is kinda surprising.

And this isnt some 'maybe bit and piece blew up', no brothers, you are turning into a living TNT and badly edited cut into sudden explosion.

Just to make sure, did Kamen Rider Joker appeared on the manga/anime? (Since Fuuto P.I is considered the sequel to the series now)
I don't really remember much about that, but if so, Joker's going to have another key for Fuuto P.I since this key used is specifically just EoS Joker T1 (EoS only matters in terms of skill)

Should Seryu plainly try to tank one of his finishers, it's going to result in more injury than she'll anticipate due to the explosion manipulation. And even Koro may have trouble tanking it.
she would never do that
he would sacrifice an arm and limb and have it discarded in the process but not directly tank anything

so a piece of her clothe being touched and she becomes a TNT?
all appendages of Seryu are things that are not originally her body anymore

To be fair, majority of peoples here didn't have a familiar think about Tokusatsu so they thought it just a japanese superheroes and not "Japanese superheroes WITH EXPLOSIONS"

Not to that level, that would be Kuuga. But if it's connect to her like arm, or legs then she's going to explode if she wish to truly tussle with Shotato in CQC.
she would never do that
he would sacrifice an arm and limb and have it discarded in the process but not directly tank anything
If it's connect to her body then that's no dice. And if Koro wish to tank it then hey, that just mean it's more likely for Koro to explode instead.

Not quite but if you get hit by the finisher, the Hitpoint you have will trigger the massive explosion, and it's instant
Or worse if you are fighting Kuuga (explode literally INSIDE) or Kiva (straight up delete you)

Not quite but if you get hit by the finisher, the Hitpoint you have will trigger the massive explosion, and it's instant
Or worse if you are fighting Kuuga (explode literally INSIDE) or Kiva (straight up delete you)
then Seryu instead would voluntary discard it rather than let it get hit to trigger that effect
seryu ain't that inept

Ok, so this is what everyone is meaning to say. Kamen Riders' finishing moves tend to cause explosions. It's not like Killer Queen where just one contact of a certain object just goes kaboom. Rather the power used for finishers is great enough to cause explosions. Here are some clips for you to visualise what we're all saying.

Here, the contact point is the face itself as the Metal Dopant gets punched. Note how the explosion completely covers that person. And this monster happens to be twice as durable as the other Dopants they have faced (since it takes the properties of Metal).

For this one, note how his kick hits the Heat Dopant's arms and sends her flying. Despite the point of contact, it still manages to cause her to explode. In this case, the explosion is far larger than the previous finisher.
