Mash is practically always as his side so she is basically standar equip but well, in this case Mash is only around to protect against interference like Kuro trying to help Kaito.

He first thing is talk and while to summon a servant he indeed need a leyline/energy Ritsuka can summon without problems shadow servants, but again, he would talk no jutsu first.

Honestly in this moment I'm not sure, from what I remember they can use the skills of the original but not their NP so would depend if based on that one would call them smurfs or not.
