Kabuto Sage Mode Lightspeed Attack

I didn't find this subject annexed to Kabuto so if it was already treated sorry but is categorized in Kabuto it is impossible to know if he was already treated or not.

The issue of light speed in Naruto is so controversial that at this point and more on this site to treat it you must have your pants on. But as a site based on logic and science, do not be afraid to deal with issues like this, however controversial they may be.

To go to the point immediately, Kabuto uses an attack at the speed of light because plain and simple is light. In Sage Mode Kabuto releases a dragon that generates a powerful light and a thunderous sound to immobilize his opponents, and that's it, this attack uses light for what is an attack at the speed of light. The inability of Sasuke and Itachi to be able to open their eyes due to the blinding light and Kabuto can block it by using the improvements of its transformation as snakes that hunt during the day and block the light can do such as the Chrysopelea ornata and Malpolon monspessulanus is an irremediable proof that it is light in every sense of the word.


Then the issue is this, this attack far exceeds Kabuto's own movement speed so it would only update that it can attack the speed of light with this movement. Given these proofs, I consider it appropriate that the Naruto revision project include that in the future updated profile of Kabuto.

So... it's a flashbang. Instead of giving Kabuto lightspeed attack speed, why not just have light projection or something as part of his powerset?

Yeah but the attack is spreading at the speed of light so it should be put on the speed part as well, so it's already known that the characters who are facing Kabuto in versus to have a chance against that attack must move faster than the light.

It's not even an attack. It's literally a flashbang no jutsu.

It's like a normal human police man having lightspeed attack speed because he has a flashlight.

It's not a particularly notable ability, unlike say, Longsword of Light which was explicitly stated to be lightspeed (/not from Naruto, but meh. It'll do as an example)

This seems veery similar to Solar Flare it doesn't exactly have any damage but is just something to catch someone off guard

You know if we're doing this...the Moon Eye plan delt with reflecting the Rinne Sharingan off of the moon. That has to be a LS attack as it was utilizing the light from the moon. It might even be faster as the attack had to envelope the entire world.

We've already discussed the Moon reflection thing and it's a no go. Now about this move, I've no issue with adding this move to Kabuto's profile.

I feel it would be appropriate if Kabuto was given limited Light Manipulation due to this technique similarly to how Goku has it because of the Solar Flare. And agree it seems better to leave it out of his attack speed considering its not really an attack & anyone with a flashlight, cell phone, or flash-bang would have light speed attack speed.

This would be Limited Light and Sound Manipulation via this move since it fires off a blinding light and loud noise.

Some time ago I made a theme dealing with the speed of the Infinite Tsukuyomi as Lightspeed, however the discussion was closed because the light of this transports solid objects and doesn't travel in a straight line. However, I calculated the precise speed of the Infinite Tsukuyomi and the result was 2.05c. I hope it is taken into account in the Naruto review process that it is taking.

The issue is that a flashlight, cell phone, or flash-bang they aren't attacks, they are just objects that any person can have and that they work independently of them, this is an attack generated by Kabuto himself with his own chakra and in order to affect the opponents, that reasoning isn't conclusive in this case I argue that for these reasons should be included in his profile since he has an attack at the speed of light.
