Kabal's Speed

Hi ya'll, I'm actually surprised it isn't discussed more, but with the release of MK11, we get new intro dialogues between characters old and new. Kabal is one of the old characters who has his own unique dialogue. One of them revealed an interesting detail, in an intro with Raiden he asks how fast Raiden is, he responds lightning strikes just as quickly and he finishes it with "Ohh, that's slow". Could this mean Kabal is faster than lightning? Which is basically 1/3 the speed of light?

Kabal is actually blocking bullets from an M4 Carbine, which is Supersonic+

The lightning statement sounds a bit hyperbolic, but Supersonic+ sounds legit and could scale to the combat speed for other characters.

Except it isn't hyperbolic, since he literally does this when fighting against Cassie in MK11.

I don't really see Kabal's part of the dialogue to be hyperbolic, only Raiden's, and also the other intro Kabal has where he claims to be as fast as "greased lightning".

Well there have been numerous statments that Raiden indeed moves as fast as lightning, as you can see in his VS Battle profile in the Speed category there are numerous sources that basically say he's as fast as lightning. I mean he is called the Thunder God for a reason.
