Jujutsu Kaisen Discussion Page #1

As JJK makes clear, the soul and body are intertwined, so it's more likely that while megumi's soul took on the burden of adapting since his brain is mostly not fried irrecoverably the consequences for unlimited void isn't as pronounced. So it was probably agony in the moment, but no damage got to persist through except for when Sukuna straight up got hit.
So then UV didn't affected the soul.

It's also crazy when normal humans got treated with no serious problem. Referring to Shibuya

Soul and body in JJK are pretty closely tied, the distinction only matters in special cases
Affecting soul affects the body but not the other way around? Yuji and others literally swapped souls and did the muscle training. I know Ui Ui made bodies won't remember their souls are switched but is it literally proves Soul and Body are linked not the same. You can affect the body by manipulating the soul (it's common in other verses too). But soul and body are indeed different stuff just linked together.

We can understand it that way:
Megumi was targetted by UV but since souls don't have brain he wasn't affected by it even tho he was targetted. And thank to it he was able to adapt while suffering no damages.

Megumi soul didn't adapted to UV Gojo clearly mentioned that. He has six eyes to get the information. So Megumi shouldn't be able to recover from that.

I believe this is one of those special cases I mentioned

NGL I’m glad Sukuna hasn’t died yet. I want Itadori to make him beg for his life and cry just like he did with Mahito.

Such a disgraced villain deserves the most humiliating defeat ever.
Idk if I would be on board with Sukuna going against his entire philosophy like that, he's the hardened warrior type who'd accept death without a care. Then again, Yuji of all people killing him in the end might set him off

Can someone share me @SunDaGamer Buddhism downgrade thread for JJk

Thanks
Just wanted to check body and soul stuff. You see above we were discussing some stuff regarding that.
I trust that Elde will bring CM, InfoHax and VoidHax back

I'm with @SunDaGamer on this case. Disagree with upscaling JJK with Buddhism arguments.
Though I might check on info type 2 hax for some other reasons. But can't say anything until then.

"Megumi was targetted by UV but since souls don't have brain he wasn't affected by it even tho he was targetted." That what i said first.

"thank to it he was able to adapt while suffering no damages." Here, i don't mean say that Megumi adapted to UV, but that Maho adapted to UV.

Do you dislike sukuna because it divides your favorite character into two? Who wouldn't love such an intelligent character, but I still respect your choice.

Made the Roach
8-B is fine for physically, its special grade

Made the Roach
Fixed some mistakes.

Weird how one of the strongest curses is basically an extra

Weird how one of the strongest curses is basically an extra
At this point I only remember 7 curses below the special grade that weren't in Geto/Kenny's arsenal (The two from the first chapters, the first two that Nobara and Yuji fought, the one Nobara killed in the prison, the insectoid one that Yuji killed at the beginning in Shibuya, and Yusepe), so it makes sense that it was a extra, if I were Gege, I'd do a little arc for a curse escalating from grade 4 to special to perhaps explore Jogoat's past.

No, like, that curse is even stronger than most of the Disaster Curses

Also, yeah, a flashback for the Disaster Curses would be cool, but I think they started as Special Grade since day one
But well, Gege seems to really dislike to make flashbacks for lore

I was thinking more of something similar to the Hidden Inventory arc

So you are saying UV doesn't affect souls
