We don't know what Yuji's arms are yet right? I think next chapter will tell us, but my theories are:
1. Cursed Tool (akin to the gauntlet Yuta wielded against Uro - the most likely theory in my opinion)
2. Blood Manipulation (Choso can amplify parts of his body through hardening his blood, Yuji did something similar but to a way higher level to create a gauntlet of hardened blood, muscle tissue, and bone)
3. Transformation (like Mahito, Yuji was manipulating his soul to enhance his physical body and his awakening will mark a full transformation)
4. A New Cursed Technique (Kashimo's cursed technique involves transforming the body in radical ways, Yuji's could be the same)

Yes. He has made several huge blunders which anyone with even a simple google search of the series concepts can infer are incoherent, such as:
1. Gojo's special grade status is given due to his curse spirit manipulation
2. Sukuna's adaptation to limitless was done by malevolent shrine
3. Gojo's six eyes make it impossible for him to use black flash
