is it just me or did Kira and josuke's speed get downgraded? I haven't seen any threads relating to it so I can't be sure but, I'm almost certain they were mftl

wheelchair polnareff was able to keep up with Diavolo who scales to younger non crippled polnareff
and star platinum in part 4 is still faster than king crimson and silver chariot who both existed at the time
not to mention that if we're using stand stats then he should still be mftl, since it's a consistent;y appearing stat system throughout parts 3-6
and as for koichi saying that red hot chili pepper is moving at the speed of light can be dismissed because
1. at the time koichi was a new stand user who was pretty much undeveloped, I don't see how he would be able to keep up with chili pepper anyways.
he's just not a reliable enough source, especially if we're using his statements in an attempt to contradict scaling.
2. Red hot chili pepper has been shown to have inconsistent speed, as when he gains electricity he goes from getting absolutely blitzed by crazy diamond to being even faster. So it's unlikely that he's at the speed of light anyways, esp when he gets boosts
3. Koichi even says speed of light when TRAVELLING through the wires, meaning that the combat speed is unaffected by the statement anyways. The point of the statement is that because he can travel so fast while remaining invisible, chili pepper can sneak attack Josuke, which is the whole point of why he had Koichi watch for where chili pepper would pop out of the ground from
so yeah, there's really no evidence that suggests Josuke isn't mftl as far as I know
unfortunately this probably won't be acknowledged by the wiki but it's still an unfortunately unnecessary downgrade

There’s definitely light speed garbage in part 4 once I collect more stuff I’ll make a crt so far got two statements for stroheim two for Lisa Lisa and her red stone and a couple more.
Jojoveller actually says the red stone contains infinite power (doubt) but it does say it amplifies light hundreds of millions of times at a single point referring to laser fired from the stone which is also called a beam of light

ok but everything that scales to Jotaro directly or indirectly must be mftl I assume
I'm guessing echoes has gotta be on the slower side of the stands?

Don’t care for echoes but even if you say they scale to Jotaro you can’t deny some of the anti feats and PIS CIS that goes on with these feats. Might have to look at echoes section see if it has anything regarding speed

Crazy diamond is stated to be near star platinum despite this we get a statement from Josuke saying his fist only punches at fodder speed which is also backed up in Jojoveller as it comments nothing on crazy diamond being light speed but is still equal to jotaro

Headcannon lol prove its in consistent as Koichi also says jotaro is the only person that can catch Red Hot Chili Peppers moving at light speed was Koichi lying? Why didn’t he bring up crazy diamond ? Weird. Like I said the speed is there but you can’t deny pis cis which your doing

I'm trying to say that part 4 stands are still mftl
cause of scaling the fact that part 4 Jotaro was the fastest stand that existed at the same time that Wheelchariot and King Crimson existed, which both scale to the original silver chariot's speed
and then crazy diamond fights Jotaro, and you know the rest

This literally doesn’t prove anything your just saying Chili peepers was gonna sneak attack Josuke that doesn’t explain why Josuke can’t catch him lol and if he were to sneak attack him so what? If Josuke is relative to Red Hot Chili Peppers or jotaro in anyway he wouldn’t struggle to react to it

you can't just react to something that you can't even see, the point of the fight is not knowing where chili pepper would strike from next
which is very similar to how silver chariot couldn't just swing at hanged man, he didn't know where he was gonna attack from next since he was always moving

It hiding and him not seeing doesn’t equate to josuke supposedly being light speed but can’t react to Red Hot Chili Peppers sneak attack or not. Like imagine you used this argument for anything else character a and b are relative but b catches a off guard and a can’t react despite being relative weird lol

being able to react to things out of your line of sight is a little thing we call enhanced senses I believe? It doesn't actually have anything at all to do with speed
lets use a real life example, if someone is behind you and then punches you, assuming you don't have a 6th sense, when is the moment you will even have the OPPORTUNITY to begin to react to it? The moment you get hit of course. You can't react to what you don't see, that's how jojo characters work
