  • This is base/human Hughie (in case it wasn't obvious lol)
  • Richie has his standard equipment, while Hughie has his box cutter and improvised shield (from S4E4)
  • Fight takes place in Stu Macher's house (Scream 2022)
  • Starting distance is 15 meters, no clear line of sight
  • Neither has prior knowledge of the other, besides Hughie having a general idea of Ghostface (not Richie specifically)
  • SBA otherwise
Hughie: 4 (@AThe1412, @Pyro9278, @TegamiBachi25, @Dinozxd)

Probably voting for Hughie in this scenario as well. He has knowledge that Ghostface is a stealth fighter so he'll be more aware of his surroundings and can counter sneak attacks with the shield. In terms of skill, I think he has at least a minor advantage as ambushing an armed terrorist and beating him in melee while having a broken ankle seems more impressive than what Richie has achieved with his kills relying on stealth and the fact that most of his victims are relatively defenseless. He does have higher stamina and can take quite a lot of stabs to the chest but a slit throat was enough to kill him and guess what his opponent was taught to do in hand to hand? Richie also has superior LS though which can even out the odds and while Hughie has higher durability, piercing damage more or less mitigates that.

Counted for the boy

I think Hughie could handle Ghostface, although with quite a bit of effort due to the LS difference that further favors stealth attacks. He might be able to survive a couple of attacks from Ghostface, and if he does, he would likely counterattack directly as he did with the terrorist. From what we've seen in season 4, Hughie already knows how to defend himself quite decently.

Voting for Hughie
