Izuko Gaen vs Musashi (I DONT NEED A SWORD IF I CAN BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF YOU)

Izuko is 465k joules, idk what Musashi is.

Also for Izuko’s skill,Agnaa over here summed it best:

Meme Oshino is a specialist in dealing with the supernatural, and has been for at least 15 years. He stole the heart from a 6-B/5-B vampirewithout her noticing.

Tsubasa Hanekawa is a genius, who by merely providing her intellectual capacity to one of the weakest supernatural beings, made it arguably the strongest (I say arguably since that's how the story describes it). To the point where she won 20 out of 20 battles against Meme Oshino, using her intellect to not get hit once, and to in fact turn Meme's attacks back against him.

Izuko Gaen taught Meme Oshino, and is far smarter than Tsubasa Hanekawa, and like Meme has been fighting supernatural beings for 15 years.

The first guy seems like he just has pretty good stealth mastery.

I think it all comes down if their "intellect" is actually combat applicable and if they can actually fight with someone of Musashi's caliber. For example, Senku is a total damn genius, but he definitely wouldn't be able to throw a punch against Ohma.

Musashi has defeated 70 Yoshioka trained swordsmen at once. That's his best skill feat by far, along with his feats like being able to predict attacks.
He also scales to Kojiro, who can fight all night without food, water and rest, and worth to note Kojiro's completely deaf.

With that feat,I wanna ask if they were comparable to him in AP or nah. How good were those swordsmen in the first place?

irrc, her intellect’s weird psuedo precog isn’t combat applicable. However it’s still very formidable nonetheless.

I also remember a similar Boulder feat only being 100k joules. So she might have a large AP gap here as well.

It's the best and most known Dojo in Kyoto. One of the swordsmen, Ueda, was said to be the closest one to their Yoshioka masters (Denshichiro and Seijuro, they both have fought Musashi two times and held their own, somewhat. Denshichiro in their first duel was equal to early Musashi). They also have used dirty tactics against him, like sacrifices, throwing dirt into his eyes, holding him et cetera. Musashi won regardless. All of them were sparring against each other regularly at their Dojo, including Ueda, so they shouldn't be very far behind Musashi in terms of physicals. They are swordsmen anyway so they can one-shot each other with their strikes by piercing and slashing, comparable physically or not.

Can you find the boulder feat?

**** I can’t remember the character’s name. It was an obscure light novel character. However it definitely isn’t above 465k joules, that much is certain.

That’s pretty dirty ngl. However it seems like filthy fighting tactics Musashi didn’t want to participate in rather than skill. However,Izuko is comparable to someone who defeated someone with 20 years + experience and exact knowledge of weaknesses twenty times in a row.

hmm.

What do you mean? They already planned that against Musashi and he didn't expect all that. Fighting against something that unfair requires some really good skill, since it's not a honorable fight, with all the backstabs, pocket sands and sacrifices.

Musashi also has around 20+ years of experience (he was fighting in mountains since he was a kid), and he has defeated a natural born genius that he couldn't even hit in their previous fight properly, after few days of training. All that by just "seeing through" his enemy. All that when he was much more inexperienced and less wise.

Fair,my bad.

Tbf,it took him a few days to get back at that genius. However that’s fair. He likely has the skill advantage against Izuko here.

Well it seems Musashi butchers her to oblivion. Gaen might’ve known everything but I guess she didn’t know how not to ******* die lol.

Well, one of the main points of Vagabond is him being skilled and becoming more skilled. Alongside everything more important like character growth

Took few days, but it's pretty good considering he might as well have to train years. Even those in his Dojo who knew the genius and trained for years were immediately stomped by him.

It is 100% combat applicable. That intelligence alone turned one of the weakest aberrations into one able to defeat an incredibly experienced expert 20 times in a row without getting hit once.

But some of Musashi's feats do seem somewhat similar, from what I've heard.

I can't make a judgement until learning what Musashi's actual AP value is.

****** hell.

I remember some obscure anime character crushing a human skull sized Boulder.

Honestly I heard a human skull is as hard as concrete. So maybe it scales near the 100k value?

If someone doesn't have a calc they're assumed baseline, which is 30x lower than Gaen's calc.

AP shouldn’t be too important regardless. Blades will still affect lower tier 9-B’s.

AP is important for how many hits it takes to kill/KO.

What the **** is this

Rocks of what size? That was a almost meter tall boulder that Denshichiro cut through (the feat), and Musashi's stronger.

This calc of cutting a 2 meter rock was 9-A, 343 million joules.

If we assume that a 1 meter rock would be roughly 1/4 the value, it'd still be well above one-shotting Gaen. The feat would need to be hundreds of times lower to get into Gaen's range.

This boulder is WAY smaller than the one Tanjiro cut through. And it took one strike for him. Denshichiro's boulder was cracked in one strike and second actually destroyed it

@ThisThing

Denshichiro is a giant, like around 190 centimeters tall if we scale him to Musashi, and the boulder is like half his size. And I said it's almost a meter.

Is it specified that the Boulder is half his size. The angle makes it look even smaller than that.

It’s either a 160k joule feat or using my bad math a (using highest value) a 1.2 megajoule thingy converting psi.
