Is this Subjective Reality or Immersion

Subjective Reality, the other is only when going inside something, SR is more versatile.

A toy is kinda already an actual object.

Also I think SR is for turning fiction into reality, not giving already real objects extra characteristics based on something or someone imaginary

I don't think the original object has to be fictional for it to be considered Subjective Reality.

It has to be fictional or imagined, toys are certainly not either and holograms are also intangible but not actually an imaginary phenomenom

As I said, the original does not have to be fictional, since other wise existence erasure couldn't be sone through subjective reality.

...that's what you're talking about? If the question was about turning things into an actual object, then that application of subjective reality hardly has any relevance

I don't see what you mean.

I was clearly speaking about the application of SR where "fiction is turned to reality" so the original object in this context would obviously be the thing that was beng turned into reality. What exactly is the point of bringing an application of SR that wasn't being discussed into this and saying that the original object can be real since technically SR turning things fake also exists.

If you only give life to a toy then that's only Life Manip. If the toy ends up having the same P&A the character it represents has in its setting, then I'm certain than that's SR and Life Manip, no?

I was assuming that the latter case was applying here btw.

As in, a toy representing a power ranger morpher becomes a actual working Morpher

Power Rangers don't have powers beyond Martial Arts (I think?) so I'll say that's a bad example.

Thing is I also thought you were referring to an specific example in the OP, powers that do this stuff could very well be Life Manip and Power Bestowal, and have nothing to do with SR depending on the statements and/or context.

Huh, by compassion JohnTron and RelaxAlax don't have a lore like that.

Yeah that's definitely Magic-based SR. His statement of it is very clear.

Simply animating an object wouldn't be considered SR, and technically wouldn't be neither Life M. since, just like a robot, an animated toy shouldn't be considered alive (at least as standard). Granting a personality depends of the user that animated it.
