basically this dude wants to remove himself from a book that contains a persons entire history, everything that happened in the past, present and future, the details of the universe etc. Removing yourself from the book causes you to become non-existent. The dude removes himself from the book and gets erased but then came back.

The person who owns the book is the primal truth of the universe and is an abstract idea, including the book

After deletion/erasure from the story, regenerating or reverting from anywhere in the story is an HGR (deletion of all past, future and present). Similar to the situation here.
