Is arguable whether or not he lied to Aizen or the viewers/Ichigo. I would rate him as Possible due to the fact that anyway we don't know.

If he just lied to Aizen then his mach 500 statement should be correct since he told it to ichigo.If he was lying to the viewers then his bankai speed =< mach 500.
