okay i get that speed can be equalized. but is bfr allowed to be removed?

i mean you can make a fight that says win via death or incap.

but if a character has bfr in their powers and abilities.

is it okay to say in your op win via death or incap (you did not mention bfr so that means bfr isn't allowed)

so is that okay?

You can only restrict optional equipment, abilities that are "likely" or "possibly" or abilities that put the character in a different tier, nothing else.

Also, I don't think you're allowed to change the win conditions so that BFR doesn't count, not sure though.

Abilities aren’t allowed to be restricted implicitly or explicitly. So starting someone in a location that restricts a power they could use in most circumstances isn’t allowed. On the other hand, victory conditions are part of SBA, not the vs thread rules, so just making it win by incap or death but not Bfr is technically allowed (since it doesn’t do anything to stop them from using it, just from winning with it) as long as it’s not something that’s making the fight far more favorable to one side.

You cannot restrict abilities unless it is from optional equipment because it shows you are not using the full power of that person

It is not fine to restrict abilities in a versus matchup, implicitly or expressly. Matches that are arranged this way should not be added to the character profiles, as they don't involve their full potential, and are only intended for casual entertainment. An exception would be if the restricted ability/technique has a separate tier from the main one. In this case, the match can be added. The match can also be added if Optional Equipments such as optional power-ups and items are restricted, or if the ability being restricted is indexed after a "Likely" or "Possibly" conditional.

BFR is technically incap since our incap is just putting your opponent into a state where they can't fight for 24 hours.
