Isn't that a straight up High 3-A feat? Since they explicitly elaborate that mass becomes infinite at lightspeed (aka they are abiding fully to theory of relativity here). Also Image comics crossover scaling is almost as horrid as the current Marvel/DC situation man

High 3-A requires hitting someone directly at c since you have infinite mass and therefore infinite energy. Supreme is "approaches infinity" and then jumps to FTL. While it respects relatively to a degree, it still breaks it by letting Supreme go FTL.

It's one of those fiction vs reality issues. True FTL travel just isn't possible under relativity. So you either work around it with stuff like wormholes, have a handwave like a different set of FTL physics, or just don't acknowledge it.

i dont think there's a problem with upscaling FTL here if SoL is directly established in verse to be infinity anyways. doesn't need to be completely accurate to physics just that things in verse about SoL necessitating infinity should make it sufficient enough.

It's been ages since I last went through Supreme's stuff but 1. I'm almost certain he way upscales Nolan, there's silly stuff like Suprema lifting a snow globe that had the entire universe shoved into it and 2. Mean Supreme specifically (the one Nolan fought) becomes as strong as he needs to be to overcome a threat, so him fighting Nolan doesn't support much of anything at all.

Mean Supreme's RE is a Doomsday-esque adaptation than variable power levels. So afaik he only gets stronger with time, rather than stronger in relation to a particular opponent.

I edited my post before you replied to it, but I'm pretty sure it's very much meant to be a "he matches the threat" (verbatim) situation i.e. variable power level, which doesn't really contradict him becoming stronger.

that's a possibility but the wording of the panels implies otherwise here. Like "appreciating its endless opportunity to grow and explore", if there was only finite mass there wouldn't be endless opportunity to grow and explore
. Also isn't it or shouldn't it be a standard for an infinite universe to have infinite mass? Like I think there being an infinite void would be fairly relevant and just be kind of weird to be assumed instead of a universe with infinite planets and stars no?

No. Our universe is theorized to have finite mass within an infinite or nearly infinite space. Just having an infinite or infinitly expanding space is not the same as said space having an infinite amount of matter.

Theorized by whom? I have never heard of a scientific consensus or any scientist in general thinking if the universe is infinite it most likely only has finite mass. And just from a narrative standpoint its just weird to establish an infinite universe when it's just an infinite void with an observable universe sized amount of matter, especially in this case where the narrator says the infinite universe allows for endless opportunity to explore. If the universe was mostly an infinite void then there wouldn't be an endless opportunity to explore...
