Invincible season 3 discussion

You're still being vague. Either tell me what you're talking about straight or stop wasting my time. I used curvature scaling and ang-sizing in the calc. Are you referring to the solar disk?
You did not use the Planet Curvature Scaling formula.

just dont engage with them. They clearly dont want to be helpful/productive.

Episode 5 was just okay. It's one of those middle episodes that just builds on the world.

Again, Mark still feels so ******* weak lol. Still nearly dying to randoms. It's unfortunate.

On another note, apparently Invincible seasons cost less to make than a single episode of The Boys. Crazy how Amazon does one of their biggest hits so dirty.

And we're already almost finished with this season. Show just started again and it's already almost over. Kinda sucks.

Average anime seasons are around for entire seasons. Meanwhile Invincible is over in like a month and a half. Then we'll probably be waiting until the end of next year at the earliest.

At least the one good thing about Western production is that companies will actually milk the hell out of popular stuff, so you can practically guarantee they'll see the show to its end.

Unlike in the east where you're never sure if or when a show will get another season, lol.

Also seems like stuff gets made faster over here, but that's not always a good thing whatsoever.

"Randoms" my brother Liu literally explains the source of his powers. How could you possibly conflate his dragon form with a random fodder? Seems like 99% of your complaints against the show is powerscaling. It's what happens when you have a terinal feats mindset. Anime episodes are half the length, which how they're stretched out more.

Giving Titan and his lackeys(Magmaniac, Tether Tyrant, Furnace, Kursk, Magnattack and Isotope) a team profile would cool imo

Buddy, pipe down. You're on a powerscaling website. Of course I'm going to talk a lot about the terrible powerscaling of the show. If you don't like that I'm critical of it, then don't read my posts lol.

"He explains where his powers come from" uh, no, not really. Beyond saying "out of this reality" there is no explanation. As far as I'm aware of in the show, he's still some random with power comparable to Viltrumites.

Also, this show should really stop spamming all the fake deaths. Unfortunately, based on the comics, it probably won't... but it is really getting old.

Oh so if it weren't you wouldn't make this criticism over and over?

I generally don't think it effects the quality of shows. But here i think it's having a negative effect and my friends who don't care about power scaling that I am watching it with pointed it out. It's clearly somthing that is noticeable.

Invincible Episode 6 was one of the best of the season so far. Powerplex's character was developed very nicely. I think he's a compelling villain, but not exactly the most understandable, which is cool. I like seeing the opposing and pretty delusional viewpoint on Mark's actions. I wonder what the show will do with him next.

Whenever the show has more dynamic lighting in certain scenes, it looks so much better. I immediately notice it every time and it makes me wish it was always that way. Please Amazon, just hire more people!

Episodes 7 & 8 are both going to be even better, I imagine. It seems the show constantly saves all the real heat for the ending episodes. Invincible War and Conquest intro gonna go hard next week...

Showrunner is doing an AMA

If you've got any substantial question do it before it gets bogged down by all the incredibly trivial ones
Why is one at the top asking about the alternate Mark designs ? It's all the same as the comic

My question is one of the ones at the top about how Mark is compared to Nolan currently (nearing EoS3). There’s quite a lot more powerscaling-related questions than I would’ve expected ngl

Dude, what's with the assholes answering the questions ? They're being asked to Simon

Rough comic TL. Thoughts?

Rex Splode and BoS Allen in the same tier is wild

Also, where's Post-Colossal Tech Jacket ?

Mostly guess-work assuming the Mark he vaped was a weaker one around that Allen's tier at least idk. I'm putting rex there solely from the potency of his suicide blast

The one in the pic, though I don't buy strongly that he got a perma amp from it. Even though his system stats were overloaded beyond capacity (♾️%), I think it was temporary, so I don't draw any strong difference. His defence capability and stuff were worn down to 20% later, which is why I think the amp was one-time. He didn't do anything worthwhile in the 2 final arcs, and wasn't a game-changer or anything. Prob stays the same tier either way

He's explicitly permanently amped

Spoilers for a feat in the new episode, in case anyone hasn't seen it.

Another feat, but this seems far more impressive than the nuke.

Immortal in the future personally destroys 10 cities and we see massive explosions. This should scale to the Immortal, yes? IDK if it'd scale to the past immortal but it clearly scales to Mark as he was able to take hits from him and killed him. I believe it should scale to the future Immortal because it was clearly stated he did that personally.

I'm getting 6-B to High 6-A results, which is pretty good. However, you should be a bit skeptical as I've never done this type of pixel scaling before.

I wouldn't be surprised if I did something wrong.
Approved it.

Also yet another High 6-A KE feat that I’m pretty sure breaks KE rules. What’s with this show and that?
It seems not 🤷‍♂️
