Infinite Speed

if my character has the ability to accelerate without limits, to grow faster without any limits, would that be infinite speed?

According to Newton's classical mechanics and the General Theory of Relativity, Infinite acceleration means that any body in any arbitrarily short period of time acquires a speed higher than the speed of light. There is no question of acquiring "infinite" speed, however, I do not know if this will work in fictional verses.

isn't time inversely proportional to acceleration, so the higher the acceleration, the less time it will take to reach a certain speed?
There's an infinite gap between 1 and 2
Between this two values there's 1.0000000000000(infinity), 1.000001111111(infinity) and so on before reaching 2 then since between each number there an infinite gap of more divisible values and there's about infinite number of whole numbers
If you accelerate you speed endlessly it will still take you infinite amount of time before reaching 0
No matter how much you close it, infinity will still be there thus can't ever reach 0 time, thus continues speeding for all eternity thus not infinite speed

I agree with you that this does not give infinite speed, but for a different reason, but part of you are right, yes

No. Your character needs to outright have statements that they can destroy infinite-sized structures or that they can traverse infinite distances (Timeframe being irrelevant and all).
