Ikki Kurogane fights against plot without plot

Im pretty sure that is not the only scenario you can do. A battle to the death with stakes on the line against someone who worked (as she states herself) hard to get what he got. Again i don't see how a battle against the greatest swordsman she has ever seen would be an uninteresting death.

And i'd like the quote for the "getting stabbed is not interesting". Cus the getting shot one is plain wrong, cus she says getting shot by a stray bullet is uninteresting, not just getting shot.

You're misunderstanding, I wasn't talking about that quote, I was referencing the Oda Nobunaga one. She said he didn't die when shot by Sugitani Zenjubo because of his nature as a high destiny value existence. And Sugitani was a sniper who tried to assassinate him. Aoi says you have to use fate itself to bypass this protection; in other words, you must create a dramatic scenario/storyline where their death is a satisfying climax. As she said "Fate prefers situations that look more interesting. So, you must make a scenario where it looks more interesting to die."

Getting stabbed is just as straight-forward as getting shot, it's no difference.

And let's say a dramatic and exciting battle is enough to bypass the protection given to an existence with a high fate value.... this works even more against Ikki because of how skilled he is; the two of them could never have a dramatic, equal, slugfest battle of skills; even if you wanted to argue that that was enough to bypass it (Which it isn't).

There are statements of these people with high fate value being the protagonists of their own story, and the power itself is described as plot manipulation. So that's where plot manipulation comes from for HFV existences.

1. Why do we assume this girl has a fate value as high as Oga?
2. You do know Ikki can manipulate fate right? So he can bypass it either way.
3. It's not stabbing or being shot that are issues, it's the context behind it. Since being stabbed by your ally (betrayal) would count. So if ikki eventually realizes this, all he has to do is maybe raise the stakes in some way and it would make the death be interesting.
4. Ikki can still freeze her and call it a day or incap some other way without killing.
5. Since that is fate based, saying "oh this didn't happen" or "this isn't interesting" and yeeting that would be changing the fate of a type 4 acausal so...not happening.
