A request by VersusJunkie, who needed this match to be remade.

Speed is Equal, Low 7B+ for both. Both have small prior knowledge of each others abilities but not to their full extent such as the composer or time Stop.

The Didact: 5

Esdeath:

Before we get started I would like to mention that Didact can no longer resist Mahapadma due to Time Stop getting revised

Alright, so I went and reread the old thread, and I'm not sure Esdeath has much better chances this time around. Sure Didact no longer resistes her Time Stop, but she's still not gonna use it anytime soon. Has Didact change much since then or are the arguments in the old match still valid?

Does Esdeath goes for Time Stop at the start of the match, I mean, If she sees the composer I think she would obviously Time Stop and run away or something, but would she be able to outpace it while fighting Ur?

Thats my point, If Esdeath goes Time Stop as the first thing IC then she counters the Composer, but If not then Didact ionizes.

However if she time stops while it's headed towards her and kills Didact, it's Incon

Okay here are my thoughts.

Skill: Direct combat experience is somewhat debatable. But The Didact has led the Forerunner Military for 10 thousand years, and is superior to Prometheans that can command million strong formations of Phaetons. And going off of this, he is probably superior to Master Chief in direct combat expertise. Who by the way has done a lot of crazy shit, more than Esdeath or Akame has.

Esdeath has for pretty much the whole series only fought those she was stronger than and was holding back to some capacity. And she has exactly one on-screen fight against someone she was matched against. That being Akame. Esdeath is a renowned general in the Empire, but has only done that for I'd say several years at most. The same can be said for the Didact. But there is much to indicate he is above Master Chief.

AP: Esdeath probably takes this by a little. For being signifigantly above the river freeze she performed long ago. The Didact scales to the Composer. He was killed by 5-6 going off. But it was agreed that he could effortlessly tank two since he is immune to it. And Master Chief with a little gene tweat was able to survive it. (Granted that was an outlier for MC) I'd say they would be nearly matched.

Abilities: Esdeath's most notable ability is Mahapdama. And with the recent revision, it's a legit time stop. Not any ice manipulation. This ability is what I beleive is the biggest threat to the Didact. Speaking of the Didact, he has much more going for him ability wise. His telekenesis is going to be iffy against someone a little more powerful than him. But that means Esdeath won'y be able to get near him without stopping time. Another dangerous ability is the ablity to create and throw a slipspace portal. This is really dangerous because it is a homing attack. She could evade it, given that Spartans are able to do so. However, the Composer is something that Esdeath cannot counter. Even if she somehow knew what it was, what it could do, and knew it was firing. Mahapdama would only delay the inevitable. Furthermore, The Didact can spam teleport himself just as normal Prometheans can. That will be handy for evading ice attacks. So The Didact takes abilities.

In character: Both tend to underestimate their opponents strength. But I feel like the Didact is more likely to use his ace than Esdeath. After seeing the power of an impossible Human. He will want Esdeath as a part of his Promethean army.

Conclusion. I beleive the Didact takes this 6/10 times with mid difficulty.

I tought we decided concluded that Ur understimating their opponents was something that Halo 4 stupidly hammered in (as always) and CIS, I mean, name one time Didact understimate their oponent's strenght, the guy used a War Sphinx to flip a continent against Ancient Humans, the civilization he most dispice.

The maximum horizion we can assume with the revisions is now like 20 kilometers. And I beleive only instability applies to Budo's storm. So I can't imagine any meaningfull changes would come of it.
