Hello everybody.

I will enter surgery on December 17, and it will take me several weeks to recover from it.

I do not know yet to what degree I will be practically able to contribute here and in our wiki during my recovery, but the same volunteer group who helped out during my recent seminar participation, has largely agreed to help out with edit-patrolling in my potential partial or full absence.

Our community will obviously become even more dependent on help from the rest of our staff if I become almost or completely unable to help out here for a while, especially in our official community maintenance discussion threads.

That is all. I love this community. Please take care of yourselves and each other if I have to be away for a while.

My surgery seem to have gone well, but I have to be very careful to avoid any infection or overexertion for a few weeks, and will receive further instructions by a surgeon tomorrow. I still do not know yet if I will be able to help out here as usual.

True, around 6–7 months ago I was dealing with my health issue, it made me extremely worried. I went through so many tests, and in the end it turned out to be Gilbert syndrome. The whole situation made me really anxious at the time, to the point where I couldn’t sleep well at night. Once I got the results, though, I felt a huge sense of relief.
