Well, aside from your Internet connection, or your software doing something, I have no clue why it happened.
In future, when writing large walls of text, copy everything you have written so far so that you don't lose it.

Google Chrome.
I imagine that a majority of people here use it, so I doubt that it's the cause.
I'll have to try messaging again. My next strategy is to use task manager and close the window I'm using, because it's been up for around three days.
