Is there any specific reason why AI arts are banned because they are not official? As far as I know, none of the Ctchullu Mythos arts are official and are fan arts, I don't even need to say the "Arts" of SCP (Which are simply random photos taken from Google), the AI images in my opinion would only improve works like WebNovels and Books, since you can create art based on descriptions of the work itself to create something relatively similar to what was described, which would make all the pages much more aesthetically beautiful than just a pile of texts without images.

I've seen several profiles that use fan art here and well, why are they allowed?

Well, this rule could also be applied to others, simply make art that matches the characteristics given within the work about the character, I don't see why this is prohibited since many pages here use fanart
