Hypothetical Multiverse Type Question

If you are using the Kardashev scale (assuming you are using Carl Sagans version) a K-infinity civilisation would be one that could harness an infinite amount of energy in an infinitely small timeframe. The Kardashev scale is really just measuring the amount of energy a civilisation can access. Adding an infinite just means infinite energy.

The most basic version of the Kardashev scale is to say type one civs can utilize all of the energy on their home planet. Type 2 their whole star. Type 3 their galaxy ect.

But newer versions refer to the amount of energy that civilisation has at their disposal. Which uses this formula that Carl Sagan came up with it.


Essentially K refers to their K scale value and P is for their power in watts. I believe this is the system that is actually presented on this wiki. So if P is infinite then the value of K would also be infinite.

What kind of multiverse are you talking about? A multiverse with standard universes/space-time continuums, or a multiverse with space dimensions higher than the 4th dimension?
