How would resistance and potency be treated in this case?

Wasn't really sure where else to say it, but eh;

In-verse, there are things called Elements, which is what characters use to do shenanigans, such as using the Fire element for manipulating fire, darkness element to absorb others and their powers, water element to piss, weapon element to manipulate reality, etc...

And it was stated that every single being, by default, has some degree of resistance towards those elements. And that resistance increases with age. If I were to index a character, how would I approach this? Should I just list resistance to every single ability in-verse that is below a certain level (ie, for context, Expert level is where stuff gets esoteric and whatnot).

Additionally, we know that resistance increases with age (including mental age), and there was a character in-verse that lived for, quite literally, Eternity/Infinite time. Would it be approrpiate it to then assume that'd be Infinite potency in terms of resistance?

If scans are really needed, I don't mind posting It. It's for the series Extra's Death.

yes.

yes

Yes, to them getting resistance towards those abilities.

No, towards them being of infinite potency. While they "increase" with age, we have no way of knowing what type of "increase" this is; it may be a potency increase, may be quantity increase, may be an endurance increase. Simply, not enough to give it a clear number or strength of the resistance, nor would it be enough to give them valid layers.

So we like, just ignore it? I feel that is very off, ngl. We know their resistances increases with age, and we were shown feats of a character being centuries old being able to resist abilities that others couldn't resist, simply due to his age.

Idk man, it just feels very weird to like, just make a feat that is meant to be a big deal in the verse (inf time), and just make it a normal resistance, you get me?

Just add "enhanced" or "greater" rating; we know it's much stronger, but not to what degree.

We are not "ignoring" it; we just can't give it a fully valid rating.

It's an infinite thing tho. We know that resistance increases with age, regardless if it's potency, layers, etc.. (altho imma be honest, it really does read like potency here), just slapping a "greater" value doesn't really give it justice here, methink.

What do you think that needs to be shown in order to know it's potency or layers?
