Does resisting physics manipulation grant you resistance to stuff like vector manipulation or dimensional manipulation.

Let's says there's a character who is capable of surviving in a realm that operates on set of completely different laws of physics/where the laws of physics do not exist at all in the first place. Would that character automatically be able to resist abilities such as Accelator's vector manipulation or Mister Mxyzptlk's ability to lower a being's dimensionality? I'm asking this because apparently these two abilities are a subset of physics manip, and i'm wondering if resisting it automatically gives you resistance to these two abilities.

A character being able to function in a realm without physics and a character resisting specific potent applications of physics based abilities are two very different things, unless there was an extremely blatant mention that they are unaffected by physics then no, and even then that wouldn't at all grant you resistance to DM by default as it's an entirely separate ability and not always rooted in physics

Oh ok

I was asking this because i've heard of some characters getting resistance to physics manipulation due to being able to survive in realms where the laws of physics do not exist such as Fate characters, and I was curious if they would also resist the aforementioned abilities as a side bonus.

There's probably more context behind it then, and if there isn't then ngl idk why that's listed that way. Otherwise, any character who can survive in a void would resist all applications of physics manip, and that's something the wiki explicitly doesn't do

Resisting some applications of physics Manip (which is usually the case) doesn't grant you resistance to all possible applications of said ability.

Being in a realm that lacks physics would grant you resistance to whatever the verse treats as falling under physics, however not all possible physics related applications.

For example, it wouldn't give you resistance to dimensional manipulation unless the verse treats all of dimensionality as participating in the laws of physics, or something similar. Even then, it would be limited resistance since not all applications of dimensional manipulation are "physics"-related.

No, it wouldn't automatically grant resistance to those abilities.

Simply being able to exist and function in a realm with completely different physical laws, or where physics doesn't exist, is strictly treated as Environmental Suitability or Self-Sustenance on the wiki. It just means the character's biology doesn't rely on normal physics to survive.

Bypassing Accelerator's vector manipulation or resisting Mister Mxyzptlk’s dimensional downsizing requires specific feats of overcoming those exact potent hax applications. Surviving in a physics-less void is not a blank-check resistance to all subsets of Physics Manipulation or Dimensional Manipulation.
