How fast would a character have to be to escape a black hole the size of the universe?

not sure if that is even possible, escape to where? welp, I think that he need to be immesurable or have time/dimension travel

Probably what Antoniofer said. A being extremely fast to be able to cross the length of wherever he is in the universe and travel outside of it.

You don't need to be immeasurable to travel outside of a universe. In fact travelling outside a Universe is unquantifiable, anyone MFTL+ can do so.

^You don't need to have massive speed to escape a black hole, though you can't ever escape it effect (unless you move out of your own universe, in a dimensional sense). For instant, there's a giant supermassive black hole in the center of the galaxy, yet the force you create just from typing the keyboard would beat it more than a billion time. That's because you have sufficient distance to do that.

So let said you have a black hole the size of the universe. You need to specified what universe you're comparing to. If you said the Observable Universe, you need to only be going outside of that zone to be able to physically escape it (still large, i know. but it's not MFTL+), since the size of the black hole only show the zone where light can't escape. Even if you said it's as large as the "whole" universe, it might still as be in an instance, since our own Universe is still expanding faster than the gravitational influence of the black hole. (millions of light speed to light speed)
