How do you account for water displacement in LS Calcs

So I want to calc this feat from Superman and Lois where Superman lifts this submarine from at least 425 meters below Sea level but I have no clue how to account for the water displacement since I know that would exponentially raise the results the normal LS and KE of it I can calc but when factoring in the water I'm at a lost
