Special thanks to everyone in the Fire Emblem Discussion Thread, and especially @KobsterHope07. We've waited long enough, lets just get straight into it.
Attack Potency / Scaling
This was more or less accepted in the last thread. Everyone who currently scales to Enlightened One Byleth / Sothis will now become High 6-A. This is due to scaling to Sothis, who, as the Progenitor God, was able to flood the world. Byleth fused with Sothis after she regained her full power as the Progenitor God, so they would also scale to this feat. This feat has been calculated at 5.6 Exatons, so everyone will scale to that.
However, not everyone will have a flat rating. Reason being, even though there are characters that can still scale to Enlightened One Byleth via fighting them (namely users of Heroes Relics / Sacred Weapons), with a few exceptions, Byleth is still shown to be superior to them. For instance, Byleth upscales from Holst, who upscales from Heroes Relics users such as Claude and Hilda (More detailed justifications with references in the Attack Potency section here). Additionally, Edelgard considers Byleth to be a much bigger threat to them than either Dimitri, or Rhea.
So, in a nutshell, Byleth is at the top of the scaling chain, and those who scale to Byleth typically will downscale from them, with a few exceptions.
Here is the full list of people who scale to what:
At most High 6-A:
People with Heroes Relics/Sacred Weapons:- Dimitri
- Felix
- Marianne
- Annette
- Claude
- Hilda
- Sylvain
- Ingrid
- Mercedes (For durability)
- Catherine
- Balthus
- Yuri (This one I don't really know about. His relic is one of the few that isn't defensive nor offensive, rather just boosts speed)
- Lorenz
- Edelgard
- Monica
- Leonie
- Seteth
- Count Bergliez
- Caspar
- Byleth (Academy Arc, with SotC)
- Ten Elites (Could honestly be full on High 6-A, given how even Holst states that he would be no match for them)
- Maurice (Same with the Ten Elites)
- Hubert
- Jeritza
- Cornelia
- Thales
- Kronya
- Holst
- Jeralt
- Macuil (Could be full on High 6-A, since he's stated to be second only to Seiros in power)
- Indech
- Shez (Part I, War Arc)
- Solon
- Really, any notable member of TWSITD, like Myson
Full on High 6-A
Characters here have either evenly matched Enlightened One Byleth / Sothis, or scale to others who do.- Sothis
- Byleth (Enlightened One)
- Seiros/Immaculate One
- Nemesis
- Hegemon Husk Edelgard
- Epimenides
- Shez (Part II, War Arc)
Speed
Everyone will have "Subsonic movement speed with FTL combat speed and reactions".
For movement speed, there isn't a set value, since there are no calculations to my knowledge, but these feats are blatantly Subsonic, so they were listed as such. First, everyone should be comparable to Raphael, who ran from Garreg Mach, to Fodlan's Throat, and back, all within a day. Keep in mind that the entirety of Fodlan is 2/3's the size of Europe, and for reference, here is a map showing how far Raphael ran within a day. Next, everyone scales to people who can leave after images through sheer speed, given that even generic thieves are capable of doing so. Both of these feats should comfortably give everyone Subsonic movement speed.
Next, we have the combat speed. Everyone will scale to FTL via keeping up with Demonic Beasts, who were able to keep up with the Immaculate One, who in turn, scales to those that can dodge her Hoarfrost. We see that even in the early game, characters such as Ferdinand, and Edelgard are able to fight Demonic Beasts. We even have characters such as Holst, Balthus, and Catherine, who as children, are able to take on hordes of Demonic Beasts.
Lifting Strength
Everyone will have Class 25 LS, and those who scale, or upscale from Raphael will have Class K LS.
Literally everyone in the game is capable of pushing a giant boulder, which has been calculated at Class 25.
Meanwhile, those who scale to Raphael in LS will have Class K LS via him being able to crush a huge rock.
There isn't a concrete list of who scales to Raphael in LS, so it will be a case-by-case, aside from obvious cases such as Dimitri, Byleth, and Shez.
Range
Everyone with melee weapons will be granted Tens of Meters range, and those with ranged weapons will be granted Hundreds of Meters range.
We see in Three Hopes that even melee weapons are capable of hitting people from a distance, and those with ranged weaponry such as bows or magic are capable of hitting people on the opposite side of the battlefield.
Skill
See here for the new Three Houses / Hopes skill blog.
Abilities
Everyone will gain their Three Hopes abilities. There are way too many abilities to list here for each individual character, so I will just list the abilities everyone has access to by default:
- Acrobatics (Can perform rapid dashes off the ground and in the air, and preform flips to dodge attacks. Can perform an "air recovery" to recover from knockback)
- Enhanced Senses (Can fight in fog so dense that it's difficult to even see one's own hand in front of their face[2])
- Accelerated Development (Training/Battle/Leveling; Physical Statistics, Magic, Skill, Luck, Magic Resistance, Charm. The Experience Gem, and Knowledge Gem increases the amount of experience earned, and skill experience earned respectively)
- Weapon Mastery, Martial Arts and Marksmanship(While their preferred fighting style is with X, they are also proficient enough with Swords, Lances/Javelins, Axes/Hand Axes, Tomes, Gauntlets, and Bows to be able to use them)
- Magic, Status Effect Inducement, and Elemental Manipulation (Can use Reason Magic, as well as Light Magic. They can also imbue their normal attacks with the elements Fire, Lightning, and Light[15]. Hitting an opponent with an elemental attack can inflict them with certain status effects)
- Fire Manipulation, Magma Manipulation, and Explosion Manipulation (Can use Fire Attacks, and Magic, which also inflicts opponents with the Burning status, which sets them on fire, and slowly drains their health)
- Ice Manipulation (Can use Ice Attacks, and Magic, which inflicts opponents with the Frozen status effect, which freezes the opponent, and makes them unable to move or attack)
- Electricity Manipulation (Can use Lightning Attacks, and Magic, which inflicts opponents with the Shocked status, which electrocutes the enemy, and causes them to discharge electricity)
- Light Manipulation, Life Manipulation (Life Steal), and Holy Manipulation (Can use Light Attacks, and Magic, which can also heal the user upon damaging the opponent)
- Air Manipulation (Can use Wind Attacks, and Magic, which inflicts opponents with the Windtorn status, which makes them take heavy damage if launched into the air)
- Darkness Manipulation, and Statistics Reduction (Can use Dark Attacks, and Magic, which inflicts opponents with the Spellbound status, which makes them move more slowly, have reduced defense and magic resistance, and make it so guarding does not reduce damage taken)
- Healing (Via Healing Magic. This can heal up to Low-Mid damage, as Healing in Fire Emblem has been shown to be able to heal stab wounds through the torso[16])
- Restricted Flight (All magic users can levitate off the ground, and move around in such a state)
- Danmaku (Can rapidly cast a bunch of spells at once[17])
- Damage Boost (Via Critical Hits, which deal triple damage to the enemy. Additionally, by performing a "Perfect Dodge" (ie, dodging right before an enemy's attack lands), all of their attacks will become critical for a short period of time[18])
- Air Manipulation (Can hit opponents from a distance, even with melee weapons[19])
- Status Effect Inducement (By depleting an enemy's stun gauge, which is revealed through certain actions such as using effective attacks, magic spells, or combat arts, the enemy is knocked down, and left unable to move for a short period of time)
- Healing (via Healing Items such as Vulneraries, and Elixirs. The Combat Art Healing Focus restores half of Byleth's HP. This can heal up to Low-Mid damage, as Healing in Fire Emblem has been shown to be able to heal stab wounds through the torso[16])
- Power Mimicry (Can learn different Combat Arts, and Spells just by observing an ally perform them)
- Statistics Amplification, Aura, and Immortality (Type 2) (via Awakening, which envelops the user in a blue aura, strengthens their attacks, makes the enemy's stun gauge appear at all times, and makes their HP unable to reach 0. Additionally, with the skill Miracle, they are able to survive at least one lethal attack)
- Regeneration (Low-Mid. via passive healing skills, and items such as Renewal, and Sacred Weapons. Healing in Fire Emblem has been shown to be able to heal stab wounds through the torso[16])
- Poison Manipulation (via Venin weapons such as the Venin Edge. The Weapon Attribute Venom Edge poisons enemies upon hitting them)
- Empowerment, Statistics Amplification, and Statistics Reduction (Through various skills and items, can increase their Strength, Magic, Dexterity/Skill, Speed, Movement, Magic Resistance, Defense, Luck, and Charm, and reduce those same stats for their opponents both conditionally, and passively. The skill Vantage allows the user to always attack first if their HP is ≤ 50%, and restore a small amount of the Warrior, and Awakening Gauges with Perfect Guards)
- Probability Manipulation (Though skills and items such as the Evasion Ring, Accuracy Ring, and the Critical Ring, can increase their Avoid Rate, Hit Rate, and Critical Hit Chance both conditionally, and passively)
- Supernatural Luck (Through skills and items such as the Goddess Ring, can increase their luck, which increases their Avoid Rate, Hit Rate, and lowers the risk of enemies activating Critical Hits both conditionally, and passively)
- Damage Reduction (via the Exorcist's Tome, which reduces all magic damage by 50%)
- Attack Negation (via the skills Pavise, and Aegis, which have a chance at nullifying damage from melee, and ranged attacks)
- Homing Attack (via the Combat Art Tracking Shot)
- Afterimage Creation (via the Combat Art Astra)
- Death Manipulation (The Combat Art Assassinate, and the skill Lethality grants the user a chance to instantly kill the enemy)
- Limited Teleportation (via the Combat Art Foul Play, which switches the positions of the user and an ally in range via teleporation)
- (ONLY FOR CREST BEARERS) Transmutation and Life Manipulation (As a Crest-Bearer, they can safely use a corresponding Heroes' Relic without risk of turning into a Demonic Beast, or take damage while using any Relic. They are also far less likely to be transformed into a Demonic Beast even if their Crest is incompatible with the Relic[30])
- Magic (via the Resistance stat. Due to being attuned with it's flow, magic users have high resistance to magic)
- Death Manipulation (Is unaffected by instant death effects from skills and spells such as Lethality, and Death, due to being a Commander Unit, who are unaffected by such effects)
- Extreme Heat (Can withstand the temperatures of Ailell, the Valley of Torment, a volcanic region with large lava lakes[33]. Can traverse lava, albeit while taking small amounts of damage)
- Unconventional Resistance to Soul Manipulation (Should scale to other characters from Fodlan, who were able to survive having their souls destroyed by Eitri, albeit leaving them as husks of their former selves[34])
- Explosion Manipulation, Fire Manipulation, Electricity Manipulation and Light Manipulation (Heroes Relics can create large fiery explosions[20] as well as glow very intensively[20]. Additionally, they emit red electricity that can electrocute those cut by a relic[28])
- Limited Transmutation and Life Manipulation (If someone tries to use one of their Heroes' Relics (with the exception of the Sword of the Creator, due to it not having a Crest Stone) without a Crest, they will continuously take damage, and risk being turned into a Demonic Beast after prolonged usage[29])
Byleth
New Profile
Old Profile
You should look at the profiles, and compare the changes, but here are the changes in a nutshell:
- Added Three Hopes abilities / a Three Hopes key, and added the abilities listed above
- Put Sothis' abilities under Blessed, and added the following abilites:
- Longevity (Due to being granted a Crest after birth, they have an abnormally long lifespan, allowing them to live for hundreds, if not thousands of years, much like the Nabateans, which can live for as long as the latter)
- Limited Purification (Type 1) and Power Bestowal (Their blood should have the same effects as those of the Nabateans, and Apostles, which grants the recipient a long lifespan[24], and cures them of any diseases they may have[24])
- Self-Sustenance (Type 1. Lacks a heartbeat[23]. Slept at the bottom of a lake for 5 years as the Enlightened One[26])
- Multiple Selves (Type 2), and Limited Telepathy (Has a telepathic bond with Sothis, due to her existing in Byleth's mind[27])
- Added Reconstruction for the Sword of the Creator:
- Added these resistances for Base Byleth:
- Disease Manipulation (Those that have been granted the power of a Crest are cured of any diseases they have[24])
- Terrain Damage (Terrain Resistance prevents Byleth from being harmed by the terrain)
- Possession (Fought back against Sothis's attempts[31] to take over their body numerous times[32]. Even after giving up control of their body to Sothis, the latter still reported issues of being able to properly control their body)
- Renamed their "Fused with Sothis" key to "Enlightened One".
- Added abilities for Byleth as the Enlightened One:
- Greater Time Manipulation (In addition to now having 13 Divine Pulse Charges, they are no longer affected by their own time stop, and can freely stop time without limit[31])
- Spatial Manipulation and Portal Creation (Able to cleave a portal back to Fodlan from Zahras, a black void that is completely separate from the world of Fodlan[27])
- Limited Damage Reduction (The Seiros Shield halves damage received by monsters)
- Byleth should possess all the abilities of Sothis, due to becoming one with her. In addition to the previous powers, this includes:
- Attack Negation (The ability Sacrosanct makes it so all damage is temporarily nullified after performing a Perfect Guard, Perfect Dodge, or Air Recovery)
- Attack Reflection (Sothis' power was able to redirect the Javelins of Light away from Garreg Mach, to Ailell Forest[35])
- Cosmic Awareness (Claims to be able to hear, and[36] see all[27], and was aware of the events of the war, despite Byleth, the being she merged with, being unconscious for the past five years)
- Water Manipulation (Flooded the[37] entire world[10])
- Spaceflight (Descended to Fodlan from a location far away[22], likely the Blue Sea Star[38])
- Creation (Created all current humans, after the Agarthans fled underground[10]. Sothis' Heroes dialogue indicates that she has the power to create worlds)
- Added Resistances for Byleth as the Enlightened One:
- Time Stop (Can move when time is frozen[31])
- Extreme Cold and Cosmic Radiation (Should scale to Nabateans, who are capable of going into space, as seen with Sothis[22], and an unnamed Saint, who went to the moon[39])
- Knockback (The skill Goddess's Vessel prevents knockback if the user has at least 50% of their Awakening Gauge filled)
- Added Resistances with Optional Equipment:
- Resistance to Status Effect Inducement and Effective Damage (The Rafail Gem nullifies effective damage, and grants immunity to status effects. The Ochain Shield also grants immunity to status effects)
- Added the following weaknesses for Base Byleth:
- Using Combat Arts, and Magic Spells uses up more weapon durability.
- There is a difference between basic magic attacks, and magic spells. Basic magic attacks do not use up weapon durability, while magic spells do.
- Has been shown to act recklessly, especially in the heat of the moment. For instance:
- They once threw themselves before an axe to save Edelgard, when they easily could've blocked it.
- They charged into an enemy's trap in an attempt to avenge their father.
- Divine Pulse has a limit to how far back it can rewind time, and can only rewind time up to 13 times.
- Using a Hero's Relic can be taxing on the wielder, wearing away at their soul, and a result of over-usage, can risk the chance of the user transforming into a Demonic Beast.
- Though, the latter typically only happens after an entire lifetime of usage, or if the user doesn't have a Crest, or to a much lesser extent, an incompatible Crest.
- Using Combat Arts, and Magic Spells uses up more weapon durability.
- Added the following weaknesses for Base Byleth (Three Hopes):
- Is susceptible to being controlled by Sothis if their life is at serious risk.
- Added the following weaknesses for Enlightened One Byleth:
- Using Sothis' power can put an immense strain on Byleth's body, which has caused them to pass out on a few occasions.
