Maybe give Kakyoin prior knowledge? So he knows the recipe for Italian donuts. (The ice cream is better don't at me)

Prior knowledge would only really help someone who can insta kill him, anything Kakyoin may try after a time erase can just get countered by another time erase. Not to mention Diavolo can still see the future within time erases, so he would see that coming.
