That's the problem, DIO's resistance is limited, he can only think in stopped time. Plus Hit can time skip and beat his ass in the future

I think the biggest issue is Overwrite being thought based. If Hit time stops, Dio can still think.

ah yeah, he did drag someone into his dimension, but it isn't Dyspo in this fight, but the mafia boss in the mini arc pre-ToP. The Dyspo fight is just artistic representation of Hit phasing in and out dimension, make him intangible, thus lured Dyspo into hitting him pointlessly

Well, idk anything about Dio, but before anyone say Reality Overwrite, Hit pocket dimension is isolated dimension, and Goku and Hit need to puncture space-time to reach him, so practically when Hit is in his pocket dimension, he is not in the universe, so if Dio not using RO on the pocket dimension with him in it, it not going to work
