Actually, HA Dio met an alternate universe version of his part 1 self so it doesn't count. But, Funny explicitly mentions that you ca meet and interact with your past self with zero effects that harm you, because that happens with Joseph and Joseph who both ask why theyre fine despite being the same person but just from different times, to which Funny says that is completely fine, it's only if it's a different universe version. Honestly every single JoJo character from EOH should get type 1 because they literally dont give a shit about interacting with their past selves. Of course this begs the question, if HA Dio met his alternate universe Part 1 self, he should of been effected by the D4C paradox, yet wasn't, that would imply he's actually immune to it and given that the damage he got via paradox wasn't to him, but to his 'rings that exploded due to the paradox on his arms (showcased earlier to be how that works with Johnny and the pistol), HA Dio may actually be immune to the paradox as he has offscreen feats and he was never actually effected by a paradox onscreen, or it's a plot hole, who knows.
