Hazbin Hotel Discussion Thread

I got High 7-A.

But meh, I tried this all before here and didn’t work, some mod also even opened a staff thread specifically against this feat, so getting it here is virtually impossible.

Being an Overlord does not assign you level… what?
Yeah Agnaa and Vzearr kind of shot that feat in the balls and slapped Vox for thinking it was usable for power.

Just like how Husk being an Overlord with power remaining doesn't make him head and shoulders above a lot of the cast in the face of feats

I hope this answers the question right above this post.

Also we technically do have tier 7 Overlords... for now.

Damn it, why do yall refuse to just accept the teir 7 stuff off of this ***** that I doubt Viv even cares/takes into account anyway? Vox blackouting a city is show runner talk for "this guy has a city level output" i know that's not how the VSBW operates cuz it opens room for extreme wankage, but I just wanted to rant, also I feel that certain instances like vox's should just be accepted until an anti-feat just to be safe, cuz the way the overlords are portrayed as beyond ANY human capacity

There is an anti-feat. The Low 7-C feat isn't even a feat, and Blitz overpowered a rando sinner, throwing them out a window.

Which means that you then have every I.M.P Anti-feat to deal with.

1.you called the sinner a rando, so we have no reason to scale them to Al
2.i still don't see how serpentious surviving the explosion isn't multi-cityblock level with Al upscaling as an overlord

However, rando sinners/hellborn(Who gives a ****, honestly, I think they're hellborn) I.M.P is superior too based off of repeated feats against Hellborn and Blitz railing a sinner, scale them to Husk and Angel Dust via extreme backscaling, and of course it gets more stupid from there since they're comparable to Excorcists(Remember Angel pushing back against one? yeah...) And of course via Excorcists you get the string of scaling that leads to both Alastor and Vox.

Also let's be frank, Al and Vox have a lot more matches in tier 8 than they do at tier 7 or 6 by virtue of tier 8 being a common tier. Hell, if the Millie feat is used for 8-A I have like 6 verses there already(Though most stomp Hazbin, and some already have even at Low 7-C)

...Pentious' results of Durability got BUILDING LEVEL. Not Multi-City Block, Building level. Not even Building level+.

I thought the vaporization got the overall to over 1 kiloton? When did the method change? It's literally a steaming vaporized pit with minor fraging
Ever hear of this thing called "Surface Area"?

It's the bane of explosion feats everywhere, and Pentious had his part of it calced. It got building level.

It's a perfect example for why you calc Surface area, because it can drop feats by over 100x what they would be for durability.

Say thank you I'm not heading the verse and have everyone at 9-B physically, with higher-tier magic tbh
Honestly, some magic shit is just blatantly higher than their physical stats, especially with what we know now about Goetias and their physicals.

Others like with Alastor is weird lol

Me? For entertainment, honestly. Why bother wasting my time over stuff everyone is heavily against when I can just do whatever I want on CSaP and just be a more-or-less spectator here?

Frankly it isn't because it would only scale to God Tiers + Vox's durability (remind you I still heavily disagree with Vox being comparable in AP to Alastor, it's too assumptuous and honestly against the portrayal of their power dynamics).

Friend, it is obvious that Alastor is superior, Vox is not the least bit angry with Alastor for almost beating him, he is super mega angry and even has a kink at seeing him lose.

...OK? I just said that Vox's AP does not scale to Alastor at all. What's the point of your post?

Yah no, Stolas was beating the shit out of the ice twink while depowered. Plus he dies to guns if you slap angelic stuff on them.
I think with Alastor you can at least argue that he just actively channels magic through his body (See when he grows huge n' shit)

HEAVILY agree here, their whole dynamic shows that Al is still in the top 5 at least, and the argument that "he lost to Vox once" is so bs because Al could have just decided to leave him alone after tossing him around, especially since with how he reacts to his staff breaking and his crash out, Al doesn't lose, he always fights people he thinks he can beat. And if Vox did beat him at one point, he would act soo differently than he does in the show. (Less treating him like a pest and more like an actually serious rival)

because Angelic weapons negate their durability and inmortality, i mean, even a lasso prevents him from using his powers, it should have not that been obvious?

Also, why do we all assume guns in the Vivsie verse are normal? LITERALLY EPISODE 1 HAS A HUMAN SHOTGUN BLOW A TORSO SIZED HOLE CLEAR THOUGH A TREE, and Moxie uses a pistol that completely BLASTS apart a basement door and it's lock. The guns in this verse are all clearly stronger than most real firearms

If you are talking about my comment... it was just a joke. Joke. "Ha-ha". Y'know?

I said that my post was a joke... this is honestly becoming annoying.
Dude, what post? I don't care about whatever post this is, it's a genuine question because it's actually consistent, maybe link it or quote this with it so I can see. But don't get mad at me for not being in the loop for why the clearly superior to real life guns are only seen as their real counterparts

On a completely separate note, why do people equate a casual adam as a hypersonic thing? People say Al can't scale to speed cuz of that and I'm sorry but do yall hear how ridiculous that sounds? I can throw a serious full speed haymaker at someone one moment, but my "casual" one isn't gonna go down to 1/2 mph, HE HAS AN FTL. Wouldn't casual be in the relativistic range, i just think it would actually take MUCH MORE effort to go THAT (comparatively) slow when you're just being casual?

So is Alastor scaling to Vox's durability

Like I've said before, the entire point of Al scaling at all to Vox is that they fought, if they didn't there's no scaling.

But I am not having another argument over a mid ass character who can't keep his shit straight for more than 5 minutes.

So let me just copy/paste a slightly modified joke I said in another thread" Alastor when "strongest" doesn't mean "Most durable"

Vox's feat would be a him thing, if it was even calcable anymore

I mean, Adam would end up scaling above Vox's durability, and Alastor downscales, so ehhh
Do you have proof he would? Or that Alastor would physically downscale, instead of just his shadow attacks getting an at most rating for harming a casual Adam?

So is Alastor scaling to Vox's durability
Nope. I made an entire essay on this. So lemme copy-paste why he CAN harm Vox and why fight never even happened.
Possesses an unimaginable level of raw power no mortal soul had attained up until that point, rivaling Hell's most destructive evils, which enabled him to overthrow Overlords who have ruled for centuries seemingly overnight, which which should mean that he is capable of damaging Vox, since Sinners are not born with power, having to perform dealings and exchange souls in order to grow more powerful, and those Overlords should have had much more souls than Vox, and should be able to do so with his tentacles, as they are his main way of attacking. Supportingly, Vox was terrified from Alastor threatening him, and was later scared seeing him again later. Him arriving to the hotel scared even Charlie, and both Vaggie and he himself also implied that he could have being a serious threat to everyone in the Hotel if he wanted to do so, which would include Charlie as well. Charlie also later thought that Alastor was the best pick against Adam.
Valentione meant the competition between the radio and the TV, i.e. Alastor and Vox in spheres of influence. Alastor could "almost beat" Vox because his popularity almost got the better of Vox, but then he disappeared for seven years. This is hinted at by Vox's subsequent actions right after the statement: he highlights that it's been along time since Alastor has gone, and he's going to "show who's really in charge of things now" and that he "is gonna make Alastor wish that he (Alastor) stayed gone". However, what do we see right after that? He simply blackmails Alastor on TV (and fails). If it was a physical fight that he lost, why didn't he "show who's really in charge of things now" by physically beating up Alastor? Blackmailing him wouldn't show anything at all in terms of that. Obviously, he's just showing who has more influence in Hell now, which makes Valentino talking about influence have far more sense.
There are tons of instances which support Alastor AP > Vox durability, meanwhile even Vox's own actions contradict even the existence of fight.

But I am not having another argument
Fair enough, we will probably just stick to our own respective opinions. Just dropped the essay in case you forgot my reasoning and are curious.
over a mid ass character who can't keep his shit straight for more than 5 minutes.
He ain't mid yet, he is still good enough even though fell off from Pilot... but Season 2... THAT's an actual fraud ass L character.
