Since it's in character I'm voting Kakashi here since he's probably more 'serious' about fights. Merlin won't put up Perfect Cube or BFR him from the start, but Kakashi will be fighting with most of his force as soon as the battle begins.

would Kakashi's sharingan enable him to sense Merlin casting? If it does that's an advantage. Also, could Merlin escape the Kamui dimension with her tp?

Merlin is as serious as kakashi when she's willing to kill in fact she's more bloodlusted and lethal than him.in character,the playful side of merlin in a battle would only show up if she know who she's dealing with.

Kakashi via kamui and Susanoo.Did Merlin even fight in Nanatsu no Taizai,it was 1 or 2 times if i dont forget,she didnt show any fighting skills,Perfect cube is useless against kamui user.

I don't think Merlin being able to travel through dimensions (if she can) would actually matter because Kakashi can just take her head off with Kamui. Plus he can actually spam stuff like shadow clones now.

I go with kakashi via sharingan and kamui and overall better versatility. Kakashi's BFR is also superior to Merlin's because it's Faster and has the ability to send people (or parts of them) to another dimension.
