Now this here, this is some peak fighting.

So let's go over the basics: MC scales to 0.29 tons while CoH scales to 0.59 tons, Hank has heavy upscaling and would probably be around even with his lightning amp, but overall BS would be dealing more damage.

Hank has an LS advantage but neither of these characters rely on their LS in the first place.

None of Hank's hax really does anything because BS either has fought it, resists it, or usually both.

So where does all that leave us? Skill and how they fight.

Let's go over how these two handle themselves on the battlefield first.
  • Hank is a versatile fighter who takes full advantage of the environment to his advantage, and loves to bumrush his opponents with either a melee weapon or his fists(mostly fists in this key), he'll usually try to dodge when he can but if he can't he'll either throw his one-shot amp or counter-punch.
  • Black Scorpion is in lay man's terms, a dumb brute, while he has the sense to talk and fight at the same time, he will talk a LOT. But where he shines is blasting, he has no problems firing his weapons at any range and due to his skill below, he's not missing Hank.
Point Hank for not being arrogant.

So now we do skill!
  • There's Not a lot for me to talk about here-- both scale above establishment soloes under tough conditions... until we get to the whole "Can dodge Rain" part of BS' skill, while he himself has the lowest dodge chance of any AV in the game and tends to tank hits in lore, his aim can indeed hit people who do that.
BS point, but both can land their offensive hits with some consistency.

So Black Scorpion should win, right? He can dodge hits better, he's got better consistent AP, his limited hax actually works, his armor provides one hell of a shell for Hank to get through to even incap him...

But Hank, as I thoroughly listen in his Stamina section, has an insane pain and injury tolerance. Sure, he can be hurt and stunned by things, but nothing short of certain death blows like a decapitation or removing his arm can properly incapacitate him, and this isn't Captain Mako, so BS would need a lucky shot for that...

Overall? Inconclusive is my vote. Black Scorpion's disorients(stuns) and holds will net him multiple free hits, but Hank can eat them and some more after that, running everything through BS gets more attacks off but can take less, Hank will get less attacks off but can take more.

Mag Hank actually does have a tendency to grapple when he's in that range to do so. he did it against Deity Tricky and several fodder if i recall.

Regardless, vote counted.
