His ship, I recall, does have shields so maybe for that. Not sure if he ever did it on himself thoughIt would be reasonable to say that The Didact can use the Hardlight shield right?

I mean that Knights can use them, and Chief can use it as a powerup, so I think there is little reason to think the Didact doesn't just have it.His ship, I recall, does have shields so maybe for that. Not sure if he ever did it on himself though

Hmmm, I suppose so, but tbf, his armor does provide protection and he does have a helmet as well.I mean that Knights can use them, and Chief can use it as a powerup, so I think there is little reason to think the Didact doesn't just have it.
I've always thought the Didact's ranting, and poor combat performance was a combination of plot, and the effects of the Logic Plague.Yeah he should have them, but never used them. Because why would he?
The Storm Covenant were subservient to him. He easily took back control of the Knights. The only person that was actively trying to fight against him in person was Chief.
He easily incapacitated Chief in their first encounter, and would have done so in their second encounter were it not for Cortana's intervention.
Maybe, but probably average for culinary skills. Can master chief cook?

I assume that every Spartan is capable of at least preparing food in the field, including foraging and hunting for it is needed.Maybe, but probably average for culinary skills.
Not the best, but not the worse either. Hell, he was confirmed to being a exceptional lucky individual/plot armor
They should been trained in survival situations given their detailed educationI assume that every Spartan is capable of at least preparing food in the field, including foraging and hunting for it is needed.
Awww man I was hoping he’d become master chef tooMaybe, but probably average for culinary skills.

If I am not mistaken, Spartan IV's can for sure do this. They just eat tree bark for nutrition in the field
Spartan IV: Eats Tree BarkIf I am not mistaken, Spartan IV's can for sure do this.
The Prometheans have them so why wouldn't he be able ti use them. Also can't he straight up just ionize things by gesturing towards them? Pretty sure he did that to the wall Chief was hiding behind. It would be reasonable to say that The Didact can use the Hardlight shield right?
He did, probably some application of Constraint or Suppressor fields. It was the same effect as the Promethean weapons ionizing things, so I think what that scene showed us was pretty blatant no? I've thought about revisiting the barrier ionization feat, but if it ain't broke, don't fix it.The Prometheans have them so why wouldn't he be able ti use them. I wish we had a statement for how big of an increase Mark VII is compared to Mark VI like we do for Mark V to VI.If I am not mistaken, Spartan IV's can for sure do this.
Also dropped a new Halo calc where Chief lifts a blast door in Halo Infinite, it's a Class 100 feat.
Could be an outlier, but it is also in his newest and strongest suit.
Now that you mention it, the Gen 3 will get abilities on the MKVII which includes stuff like energy shield shaping and what not.I wish we had a statement for how big of an increase Mark VII is compared to Mark VI like we do for Mark V to VI.
Mark VII Chief has so many new toys to play with that it's ridiculous. That damn grappling hook and energy barrier are broken. Now that you mention it, the Gen 3 will get abilities on the MKVII which includes stuff like energy shield shaping and what not.
He is da chief so it makes senseMark VII Chief has so many new toys to play with that it's ridiculous. That damn grappling hook and energy barrier are broken.
Dropping this for consideration.Mark VII Chief has so many new toys to play with that it's ridiculous. That damn grappling hook and energy barrier are broken.
I wonder if anyone will manage a deathless LASO run of all four games consecutively. That's probably impossible though.Me and @Arc7Kuroi did an all Legendary Campaign-thon throughout all the main Halo games (CE to Infinite) in the past and it was really fun. If anyone has a friend who has the games and hasn't done this before, I highly recommend it. I guarantee you'll enjoy your experience after it's all said and done.
Spartan Cores felt weird to me because I never understood how that actually worked.Dropping this for consideration.
Spartan core
The Spartan core is a piece of modular UNSC equipment that is used to install field enhancements on the GEN3 MJOLNIR armor, allowing Spartan operators to adapt to their environmental needs and mission specifications.www.halopedia.org
It means we can factor those upgrade into Chief's Gen 3 key.Spartan Cores felt weird to me because I never understood how that actually worked.
How are we gonna handle the Shield Core upgrades? That system maxed out is 60% more powerful than the base Energy Shields on the Mark VII.It means we can factor those upgrade into Chief's Gen 3 key.
We will have to factor that into his shield durability, based on whatever we've scaled it at.How are we gonna handle the Shield Core upgrades? That system maxed out is 60% more powerful than the base Energy Shields on the Mark VII.
Speaking of upgrades, I find it interesting that the final upgrade for the Thrusters is titled as Escape Velocity. We will have to factor that into his shield durability, based on whatever we've scaled it at.
Also, tackled some more Wraith mortar calcs here.
That thing must be extremely dangerous to fightGhostpierce - Weapon - Halopedia, the Halo wiki

The idea of an Energy Sword Prosthetic is so ******* cool.
Never gonna happen at this rate.We need another good game
There were plans for a DLC expanded story for Halo Infinite so I heard to be released back in 2022, but it was canceled due to Infinite making disappointing sales. We need another good game
