It doesnt. Sukuna uses a binding vow to keep his hands together so that it doesn't get overwhelmed by a domain's sure hit. without holding your hands together though it just buys time and will inevitably be broken just like simple domain.

I'm personally more convinced by the Kashimo side of the debate so I'll vote him for all the reasons given prior, though this will probably be his toughest fight that doesn't rely on just beating the hell out of someone who has borderline infinite healing.
